Tyler is the image! He answered the phone and was beyond knowledgeable on laws, usage, product reviews, purchasing schedules, devices and more. VERY amazing and knowledgeable! Found out he has a decade of industry exposure-it shows. He knows glassblowing and different prices, and personally uses the products. The guy was not helpful. They didn't have a big selection of salts for my vape, so naturally I had questions about other kinds and he was on his phone the entire time I was in the store. He made me feel like I was bothering him. Very rude and unaccommodating. Worst experience I've had. read more

This place is "eh" nothing compared to the other smoke shop down the street. First of all this place does not have a sampler concession and you have no idea what kind of juice you are going to get for your vape. It's almost like a hit or a miss. Instead you have to rely on the name of the Juice for example "unicorn milk" "starfish" shit like that. Secondly, the staffs aren't that helpful. I asked help for finding a type of flavor and she barley even helped instead she just dozed off, gave me a look, and just chiefed on her vape...okay...it was slightly rude. I also bought a pink hookah here and once I set it all up it never worked. I noticed there was a tiny hole in my hose and all the smoke was coming Out of there instead. I returned it and got to exchange with with another one which was nice of them to do. Overall, if you are just going to come here for juices, don't bother. It's also very expensive. Other than that, this place is alright if your just buying a pipe, accessories, etc. best place to get your juice is this place called "puffin" and they are 2 mins down the street from rock and smoke. They are cheap and they have 100's of flavors for you to test out before you but it, it's awesome. read more

So I am 22, clearly 22. I misplaced my identification card(I have a CSU student identification. There were 3 other people in the store(who appeared to be high schoolers) whom were not carded, directly in front of me. I wasn't even going to buy anything(my friends were). I highly encourage you to avoid Rock and Smoke at all costs. Unprofessional and inconsistent staff. Yes this place has a very large display of products but as far as customer interaction- big fat 0. Went in looking for ejuice and coils and got nothing but snide remarks from the staff about how they "had no time to give samples of ejuice" when I asked if they had a juice bar. I basically laughed at him and left. If you're looking for anything vape related, look elsewhere. My boyfriend and I freakin love it here! We live in MA and there's places kinda closer, but it's worth the drive. Every piece or pen accessory is super well made and lasts forever. They're the nicest guys too! Russ and Tyler are not only funny and chill but they're incredibly knowledgeable about everything they carry and more. They love what they do and it shows! Great selection of pipes, supplies, ejuices, etc. The guy who owns it (I think he does anyway) is a younger guy. Super helpful and super friendly. The prices are a bit steep depending on the product but I still go as it's the friendliest smoke shop I've been to. read more

I just wanted to respond to the post below. it mentions how the reviewers must have "some affiliation" with northern lights. what a shame. rather than taking the advice given to them by their customers they decide to discredit their unhappy customers and claim something as low and irresponsible as their "competitors" simply having their way here. let me clarify, my money was NOT spent at northern lights. they have enough customers. what my review said was that I CHOSE to go to rock & smoke over northern lights - and that was because of how honest, friendly, and appreciative the owner Tyler was the first time I went. I am in no way affiliated with northern lights - quite frankly it's too far and I am not that impressed with their selection. the fact that my honest review of how rudely I was treated by the owner of Rock & Smoke who was CLEARLY not having a good day. he was so rude, so short, and made my business feel so unappreciated that like I said - I walked away from a $1000+ cash sale and left with a $40 credit sale. I told all the employees there that that night I was no longer giving my business to Tyler and left because of just how incredibly dismissive and rude he was. I was shocked. so in closing, northern lights is far and alright but not the beat glass shop by any means. I could care less if the employees want to dilute my truth with that ignorant accusation. bottom line - the owner (as stated in the FIRST REVIEW) is that the owner and his store won't last - treat your customers with respect and don't tell them you're busy on your computer and hand me some second rate sales person who can't tell the difference between an 18 and a 14mm adapter. my advice to you and you're store is to change your attitude and change your practices or like all businesses that ignore feedback and do things the way they want - your doors will be closed before you know it otherwise! quite simply - Be polite to your customers (they pay your rent) and don't ignore you're customer feedback - you may as well shut now if that's your plan! don't waste your time guys - I'd rather buy bong from a gas station then this place. read more

I hope to offer constructive criticism to the young man (and owners) who has waited on me twice now: being condescending, rude, and by making it very, very clear that I am bothering you is REALLY bad business practice! Another young man and a woman also waited on me and were cordial, even friendly--but this person has convinced me after giving him a second try, to go elsewhere. I've been to two other local shops and the staff were exceptionally respectful. So, in a pinch--because R & S IS open on Sundays and some other shops aren't--I'd recommend them, but because of this rude, arrogant sales guy, I'd definitely go somewhere else. Rock and smoke was my one stop shop for all my smoke related needs but after today i dont think its going to be my next choice. Ive meet the owner on several occasions know him by name and appreciate his story and how far its come although it appears does not even recognize a weekly customer. Maybe running a store has taken its toll but if so its also greatly taken a toll on your customer service . All other sales reps in the store have been friendly and knowledgeable in the past but leave the manager work to the manager and the customer relations to someone with more enthusiastic people skills. read more

Honestly, the people that work there are cocky and rude. very unorganized, I understand it's a smoke shop but, one guy was just smoking pot right outside the shop, and when he came in we has not helpful. he was very irritating.and the other guy inside acted like a car salesman. although they did have a ton of stuff, almost everything was overpriced about 15-20%. prices were not practical. most smoke shops have the same selection, nothing special. couldn't even find a down stem that wasn't 10 inches long! read more
