As I found myself using her photos for decks and corporate editorial, I was reminded the power of visual storytelling in stills. We live in a world where short form and video show engagement metrics - which isn't incorrect, but that might tempt us to forget the original art of still photography to capture a moment, and motion or a sensation that moves people. For me, I hired Hannah for both event and product photography. Since then, I've sold out my events and my first batch of products. This does not happen without Hannah's genius and her talent for visual storytelling that moves people without video-in-motion; though I suspect that we might work together on that next Thank you, Hannah! I can't wait to do more with you as we continue to build!

She's got a unique eye, which is what you want in a photographer. She shoots enough to get choices, but knows when she's got the shot. Also, her backgrounds and shot suggestions are A+. 2. Jade is a photographer for the PASSION - not the money. She doesn't charge an exorbitant amount, because she doesn't need to. 3. CHOICES. You'll get a ton of images you love and Jade will offer suggestions, and even unconventional suggestion such as switching out the smile of one kid or another to get the best shots of each person. I could go on and on - but Jade's amazing. You should just accept that. LOL. I've used her probably about 15 times in the last 3 years: My nieces birth, my kids Christmas photos and photos w/ grandma, my girls' birthday photos, my mom's photos w/ the grandkids, etc. Feel free to DM me with any questions. Ever since I had engagement photos taken in 2010, I have had one professional photography session of my husband and I and our growing family done every year since. To me, it's important to capture what we were like as a married couple for every year that we are together as a family. So as you can imagine, I have pretty high standards when looking for a family photographer and I do weeks of research before committing to a photographer. I love beautiful natural light and natural poses (I hate those awkward looking poses that some studio portraitures make you do). Kari's work exemplifies everything that I love and more. Plus, she's very easy to work with and just a great person overall! We received proofs of our session around 2 weeks after and I loved the end result from the actual photos themselves to the packaging to the personalized note. Also, if you have doggies, she's great with them and photographs them beautifully as well. The only negative thing I can say about Kari's work is that she made me look too good in the photographs that real life me was a bit of a let down. hahaha. But, no seriously... I had friends and co-workers who did a double take looking at me and at the pictures and then point-blank ask me if that woman in the picture is really me because I looked gorgeous in Kari's photos. No joke. It happened at least 3 times from 3 different people. I have unfortunately moved across the country and now searching for another family photographer. But if you are in the area, I highly recommend Kari! She is an awesome person, awesome photographer, and her work is just incredible!!! I will definitely miss having Kari take pictures of my family growing through the years.
