It's always being put on hold before you can even get the words out, or not answering at all and having to leave a message. When they do, the appointment is always days away. You can forget about reaching out or following up. No matter the reason; annual physicals, test results , documents, appointments are all the responsibility of the patient. Of course only if you can get through, or they call you back. I don't think I have ever called or been there when they were not carrying on another conversation and I was not made to feel like I interrupted. How dare I!

The burden is on you to do everything (e.g., check insurance coverage with referrals, fax medical records, update their office listings in insurer's directories), so I wouldn't trust physicians who don't check for quality in the staff they hire to do nothing to attract and retain patients except make their lives miserable simply because they can get away with it. I'll take family's health and business elsewhere. Someone who treats patients this poorly can't possibly reflect well for the physicians caring about someone's health if they let this pass for customer care. I don't even want to imagine the potential nightmare of dealing with staff who have no sensitivity for dealing with seniors and their complications.

A nasty assistant came twice to me giving me the dirtiest look i ever received in a doctor's office, telling me I have to wait. I was permitted to book an appointment with this office less than three days ago. I was confirmed for that appointment less than 24 hours ago. To be told at 7 AM this morning when I walk into the office, but they no longer accept my insurance their office never notified me and as a patient of almost 20 years, I could pay out-of-pocket to see my doctor or basically go screw. You can imagine how that could be physically upsetting so when I never threatened anybody in the office and never used any foul language, but was visibly crying, trying to advocate for myself because I would love to know if I'm walking around with pneumonia As I'm working it out or thinking I am with the office manager being told that they dropped the ball and it's their fault. I have poor Suffolk County police officers walk up behind me to escort me out when I was never asked to leave, but to the contrary, asked to hang tight while they figured out what they could do for me. To treat a patient who is begging for medical care as a criminal while you lead her to believe that you think you're helping her just to leave Heard a law-enforcement is quite honestly disgusting and despicable. I'm reporting the entire facility to the medical board. And they just lost multiple patients who have been their decades before Catholic health ever decided to slap their name on that building and they were just a mom and Pop family medicine place.
