None of these interested me until I received this agent's promotional deal offering to list homes for 1% commission. We had one meeting and 2 telephone conversations. I was clear that prior to signing I needed to sever ties with my previous agent and that this would take time due to the "relative of a relative" nature of the relationship - this is someone that could not be brushed-off like dirty laundry. Yesterday morning we made arrangements for BH to come by my home today at 11:30 to take photos. Yesterday afternoon I had the last conversation severing the tie and was planning on meeting BH when he came by to take the photos and wrap-up business. Today I received a call from BH at 9:30 to tell me that mine was one of the last deals he considered for his promotional 1% and that he would not take the listing. He said he could not do it for less than 2%. I'm sorry, but to make that statement and change at the 11th hour is unconscionable.
