I wish I could give Paul 10 STARS!!!! He is simply the best at what he does!!!! In my last review, Paul went above and beyond my expectations. Well, he went even further. After selling my condo in May, my wife and I decided to sell her condo just after the summer. My wife was so impressed with what Paul did to sell my condo, she hired him to sell her condo. She met with Paul and it was instant chemistry. She hired him on the spot. Within a week of hiring him, Paul had beautiful pictures of her condo placed on the MLS, listed, and an open house scheduled. On the fifth day of being on the market, Paul had excellent offers on the table and in a few days we were in escrow. Paul's magic did not end here. Paul knew we were looking to buy a home also. I have recently purchased a house with Paul's help and found him right here on Yelp. A lot of the realtor's had high reviews, so I did not take it seriously. While reading through the reviews, I saw that he had an award from the San Diego Union-Tribune and that lent his clients' testimonial credence. After spending 4 months looking for the house, I must say my interactions with Paul has been exceptional. I am used to people telling me they will do something and forget to do it, but not Paul. When he says he will contact me or provide me with additional information, I can rely on him to do just that. If you spend some time with him, you will discover that Paul is a very honest and personable guy. When he tells you, "I want you to be happy with the purchase and you should take your time finding a place", he really means it. I enjoyed my time looking at properties with Paul; it was like hanging out with a friend. He does his research prior to the visits and he will tell you issues that he had found and point out any issues he identifies on site. If you think all the stuff that I wrote is something all realtors do, you might be right. But when my apartment lease was coming to an end and I needed a place. I was willing to bid higher to get the house and stop stressing over it. The house was well within my income and I knew I could purchase it without affecting my finance. But Paul told me that we could get it cheaper and told me to lower it. I trusted him and to my surprise he was right. The buyer accepted the offer and the house appraised above the purchase price. When I told this to my friends, they were surprised that a Realtor told me to lower the bid. We would've given 10 star to Paul. Here is why: In the beginning of May my husband and I started looking for a home to purchase in San Diego due to his job change. At the same time, we had to sell our home in OR. You can imagine our stress level. We visited San Diego a couple of times but in terms of where to look or price of houses, no clue. I went on yelp and after doing some research and reading reviews, we decided to work with Paul. I can tell you, picking Paul as our agent is one of the BEST decisions we've made during our relocation process. We had a few calls with Paul to give him some ideas of what we would be looking for (a long wish list like those buyers on HGTV:-) Before we flew to SD during Memorial weekend for a house hunting trip, Paul always kept us updated on new houses that met our needs.
