Funny thing, my husband and I intentionally dress down [when not attending an event or gala] so that we don't get bombarded and look like we'll spend what we usually spend. Staff should know, It's ok if you're approached and let known if you need any help to just let them know. However, If somebody ignores you because of what you're wearing or how they 'might' perceive you, than they should not be in business and you should leave that business. A family member of ours has a dealership; they sold a man who walked in unkempt and rough looking a fleet of 5 vans for his business and almost thought the man was homeless when he walked in. You treat everybody the same! Folks should NEVER treat anybody any different than that person you THINK has it all ...time and time again, those are the ones who are more show than real with credit card bills maxed out!! She knows her products extremely well and has a real talent for helping people figure out what works without making them feel overwhelmed. What I liked most was that I never felt pressured. She took the time to answer questions, explain different options, and help me understand the pros and cons of things. You can tell she genuinely enjoys helping people. When she talks about design, color choices, and fabrics, her face lights up and you can see how passionate she is about it. If you get the chance to work with Jewelie, you'll see what I mean. We were told by the sales rep that the chair was a floor model only and discounted to $1549.00 and not returnable. We took it home with us and a few weeks later, found the exact same chair at Sweat's in Brunswick for $899.00. We emailed Lott and received no reply. Our sofa was special ordered and we never received a call to tell us that it had come in. Check out at this store is extremely slow. Sales rep was unresponsive after taking our money. On a positive note, delivery was wonderful and selection in this store is very nice considering that there are not many quality furniture stores in this area.
