This time we showed up 10 minutes early and they said they were running 5-10 minutes behind because of "cleaning issues". Well it turned into 20 minutes late so thankfully we already canceled our dinner reservations. I think it would've been fine if it wasn't $250 for a family of five for 38 minutes and the ninja trials escape room was not as exciting or interesting as dragon tower. Also one of the equipment pieces we were given was faulty so that made it less fun for one of us.

I enjoyed walking around campus and took photos. I passed the School of Law building which is nice on the outside. It was a quiet day and campus wasn't too busy. The people that I encountered were friendly and helpful in directing me to the Spider Shop which I believe is in the student center. I was hoping to browse the shop and perhaps buy a shirt or other University memorabilia. Unfortunately, the Spider Shop was closed when I arrived so perhaps the shop closes on Sundays. I didn't attend University here but I enjoyed my short visit. I would definitely suggest that. A lot of people were there already. Parking was down the road directed by attendants. It is abbot of a walk from there. But there was a shuttle available. Bring a chair or a blanket to sit on. Bring a cooler with food and drinks and if you have kids something to keep them entertained. Keep it discrete and make sure you bring a cup for those tasty beverages.

But it was padlocked when we arrived. No sign, no explanation. We then tried calling the number on the website but there was no answer. Other attractions in Richmond have updated their websites and/or phone messages to reflect changed hours, procedures, or closures. We went to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts instead and had a nice time. I guess Wilton House will have to wait: but I will call ahead next time, as their website is apparently not reliable.
