Barb was very knowledgeable about what was expected as accurate pricing for the area as well as the pros and cons of our renovation and rental. We decided to list and it was an awesome experience, very quick and stress free. Barb took care of everything, the property was sold quickly after multiple offers and Barb made sure every detail went off without a hitch all the way to closing. Would highly recommend her!

We had an outstanding experience working with Rick Bond as our realtor in Cocoa Beach, Florida…read more Since we live out of state, finding someone we could truly trust to manage things locally was incredibly important--and Rick exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, Rick went above and beyond. He didn't just act as our real estate agent; he felt like a trusted family member looking out for our property. He regularly kept an eye on things for us and even helped coordinate cleaning and repairs when needed, which gave us tremendous peace of mind while being so far away. Rick is extremely knowledgeable about the Cocoa Beach real estate market and always took the time to explain the process and our options clearly. His experience and guidance made us feel confident every step of the way. On top of that, his work ethic is truly impressive--he is responsive, proactive, and genuinely dedicated to his clients. We are incredibly grateful to have had Rick representing us. We would never consider using any other realtor in Florida, and we recommend Rick Bond to everyone we know who is looking to buy or sell in Cocoa Beach. If you want a hardworking, knowledgeable, and trustworthy Cocoa Beach realtor who truly cares about his clients, Rick Bond is the one to call.

He was always available for walk throughs, meetings, and the closing. At our drywall walk through, he took photos of everything and asked great questions. He advised us to have an outside inspector which turned out to be a great idea since there were a few items that needed to be taken care of. He attended the closing and reviewed all the documents with us. After closing, Rick sent us calendar reminders to submit the application for the Homestead Exemption. Rick is organized, personable, and passionate about supporting his customers and giving them the best experience possible. It was a pleasure working with Rick and we highly recommend him.

Dec 19, 2017 Addendum: I just received a call from Mercedes stating if I did not remove my post…read morebelow that she would call my Foundation board members and attempt to have me fired from my job. Anyway...here it is: I have thought long and hard before writing this review because I take it very seriously. l hired Century 21 in May 2017 originally with Mercedes Carlson because she made all sorts of promises about how she would sell my house by bringing all their realtors by on a weekly basis through a "round-robin" sort of activity; she said the office already had multiple clients looking for houses in my price range (she even gave me names and offered to set me up with one of the gentlemen), she also would have my house cleaned by a professional cleaning crew, etc. Well come to find out, all of these were lies. When I questioned her months later because she had only had one showing on my house (and it was a neighbor of mine), she said that Century 21 no longer did the round-robins; and "Oops" she said, come to find out they do not have such high clientele that she originally thought they had; and "oh by the way...you wouldn't mind if a retired friend of mine cleaned your house instead of a professional crew, would you?" she asked. The latter happened and it was a disaster. We had to bring in a handyman behind this women to fix the stuff she broke (and that she painted on her own), not to mention, I had a very expensive necklace and earrings go missing after she cleaned. But that's beside the point. Sooo....I then put some pressure on Mercedes to do some open houses, which she did. Two of the three times she left my doors unlocked. One time, I got home at 1 AM alone to unlocked doors (see attached pic). She was always rude to me. Raised her voice on the phone and would never let me talk. I used to have to hang up on her! She did bring me one offer from the one showing for $240,000 less than what I was asking and she encouraged me to take it (she was representing them as well)! I wish I could tell you the story gets better but it doesn't. When I tried to cancel the contract she would not let me out of a $1,000 early cancel fee (on a 6 month agreement), so I had no choice but to use another Century 21 agent, Freda Thorpe. I'm sighing out loud right now because unfortunately I can't tell you she was any better. She was nicer. But did not perform at all. I even dropped the house price by $60,000 and she still had no showings except one! My final straw with Century 21 was the one and only showing that Freda did, I asked that she be there since it was another realtor and I was out of town. I specifically asked her NOT to put a lock box on the door. She agreed. This was a Sunday. I came home Monday evening and low and behold - a lock box was on the door (meaning she did not meet and stay with them) AND the realtor left the key in the door over night (see pic). When I called Freda she got very very nasty with me telling me that other realtors that show my house under her contract were not her responsibility and I was wrong for being upset about this situation and I just needed to "calm down". By then I was fed up and told her I think I have grounds to cancel the contract which she replied, "Only if you send us a $1000 cancellation fee." On a sidenote, throughout the contract she sent me lots of bible verses and preached to me, which was a bit annoying but regardless her actions definitely did not follow her words. In conclusion, not only did Century 21 not even come close to selling my house, but they are rude, do not ensure that your home is secure after showings and are down right ugly people to deal with. There are way too many good realtors who deserve the $30,000+ commission they would have made from my house to put up with people like them. Seller BEWARE!
