Property: 15 E Wyoming Ave Haven Beach…read more On moving in day, I needed to clean the kitchen. The Garbage pails were dirty, the toaster was full of crumbs, countertops were dirty. The dishwasher had drips of coffee inside. But the worst was the flooring. The downstairs' carpet was loaded with stains, large spill spots, gross. Really needs to be replaced with vinyl flooring for easy cleanup. The upstairs master bedroom carpeting, while it looked newer, had so many animal urine stains that it was like walking through a mine field to avoid stepping on them. Not an easy task for someone who walks with a cane. A mattress cover was soiled on one of the twin beds. We reported all this to the agency immediately. But here is the kicker. We parked our car in front of the house on the stones. There was no mention of No Parking there. Access to the house was easier this way for me with the cane. More than a week after we left, I was notified that my security deposit would be held until the area was inspected for any water pipe damage. We had no issues with water during our stay. Ultimately, the only thing that needed to be done was that the stones had to be raked back into place In a small area. $125 plus tax was withheld from my security deposit for a five minute job! yet no consideration was given for the lack of cleanliness in the house. I did not ask for any compensation for the condition of the home, but I think that once the issue of the stones came up, it should have been considered a "wash" (no pun intended). I don't feel the agency went to bat for us and I will never use them in the future. I think the owner also took advantage of us. Renting costs are sizable and the customer should be treated with fairness.

About five years ago, I rented a house in Beach Haven through G. Anderson. When we arrived, the…read morehouse had a bad smell. It turns out it was mold. We called the realtor and she went above and beyond to find us another house - a nicer house and we weren't charged a higher fee. We have been renting through G. Anderson for many, many years, and have found them to be professional, helpful and accommodating.

Jersea Realty - dust and rust in the master bath. This was a $10,000 7 day rental! Are you kidding me!??!!!

DON'T RENT FROM THIS REALTY. AND DEFINITELY DON'T RENT FROM THE OWNERS AT 1043-C LONG BEACH BLVD…read more NORTH BEACH IN LBI, NJ The realty and owners of this home made the conscious decision to rent a subpar home for $10,000 for 7 days that clearly was not rent-ready. On its best day, this rental was worth $2,500 and I'll tell you why... This home was slated to be demolished the week after we rented. Therefore, it is evident to us that the owners and realty cared little about the condition of the house. Being an oceanfront doesn't validate the fact that just about everything in this house was below the standards anyone would expect to be presented with when they pay $10,000 for 7 days. We were interrupted a number of times by the owners, contractors, surveyors. The grille was a major hazard with rusted feed lines, there were dead bugs in the house, the bathroom was dirty with dust on the walls and rusted vents. They didn't include beach badges. 95% or better of the rental homes on LBI include beach badges!!! (very cheap and tasteless people). The electronics in the home had exposed wiring with the router placed front and center in the living room. The furniture has tears on it and the outdoor deck furniture was damaged. the house house smelled of mold. This was a classic case of misrepresentation and no adherence to 'truth in advertising'. They listed it as accommodates 18 but only had flatware for 9. https://www.homeaway.com/vacation-rental/p4084917 Lastly, I will qualify that we've been vacationing in Loveladies and Harvey Cedars for over 30 years and never have we been shy to pay for the luxury of certain amenities. This was the first time in all our years of renting vacation homes in LBI that we were blindsided and taken advantage of by a bunch of classless, greedy, opportunistic individuals that even after receiving our grievances chose to take our money and make no allowances for their shortcomings. Remember this was a $10,000 7 day rental that turned out to be the equivalent of sleeping in roadside motel/ lodge off the service road somewhere in the sticks... Again, I urge ALL STAY AWAY FROM JERSEA REALTY AND 1043-C LONG BEACH BLVD NORTH BEACH (OWNERS)!!! They knew they were knocking the house down and still took all of our money. Stay away from these people they're dirty! Happy vacationing to all. We still love you LBI!!!
