Property: 15 E Wyoming Ave Haven Beach…read more On moving in day, I needed to clean the kitchen. The Garbage pails were dirty, the toaster was full of crumbs, countertops were dirty. The dishwasher had drips of coffee inside. But the worst was the flooring. The downstairs' carpet was loaded with stains, large spill spots, gross. Really needs to be replaced with vinyl flooring for easy cleanup. The upstairs master bedroom carpeting, while it looked newer, had so many animal urine stains that it was like walking through a mine field to avoid stepping on them. Not an easy task for someone who walks with a cane. A mattress cover was soiled on one of the twin beds. We reported all this to the agency immediately. But here is the kicker. We parked our car in front of the house on the stones. There was no mention of No Parking there. Access to the house was easier this way for me with the cane. More than a week after we left, I was notified that my security deposit would be held until the area was inspected for any water pipe damage. We had no issues with water during our stay. Ultimately, the only thing that needed to be done was that the stones had to be raked back into place In a small area. $125 plus tax was withheld from my security deposit for a five minute job! yet no consideration was given for the lack of cleanliness in the house. I did not ask for any compensation for the condition of the home, but I think that once the issue of the stones came up, it should have been considered a "wash" (no pun intended). I don't feel the agency went to bat for us and I will never use them in the future. I think the owner also took advantage of us. Renting costs are sizable and the customer should be treated with fairness.

About five years ago, I rented a house in Beach Haven through G. Anderson. When we arrived, the…read morehouse had a bad smell. It turns out it was mold. We called the realtor and she went above and beyond to find us another house - a nicer house and we weren't charged a higher fee. We have been renting through G. Anderson for many, many years, and have found them to be professional, helpful and accommodating.
