History
Established in 1991.
The Estate Planning & Elder Law Center of Brevard, office of Robin M. Petersen, has been serving Melbourne, the beaches, and surrounding area since 1991. Since opening his practice in Melbourne, Mr. Petersen, who is Board Certified in Elder Law, has has been serving his clients in the areas of Elder Law, Estate Planning, Guardianship, Medicaid Planning, and VA Aid & Attendance.
Meet the Business Owner: Robin P.
Mr. Petersen is Board Certified in Elder Law by the National Elder Law Foundation, which is accredited by the American Bar Association. He is also a U.S. Veterans Administration Accredited
attorney and admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Military Appeals. As a former Air Force
Captain, U.S. Air Force Legal Officer (JAG), and military brat, he is uniquely qualified to meet the legal needs of veterans and their families.
Listed in Who's Who in American Law and Florida Super Lawyers, Mr. Petersen is a former Assistant Public Defender, a former instructor of law to college students, is a sought-after lecturer and writer and co-author of the book Elder Law Client Strategies in Florida.
When not practicing law, Mr. Petersen enjoys spending time with his daughter, playing classical guitar, traveling, yoga, tennis, bicycling, and hiking.
