I also like to be picked up in a clean and hygienic car. I don't like idle chit chat, but I will join in for the sake of it with the drivers. At least all the drivers at Ambassador Cars speak English. There is nothing worse than a taxi driver that can't speak the native language. I always get the same driver and he always arrives within minutes when I call from home. Maybe he is my guardian angel? Regardless, Moseley Radio Cars are fast, very cheap and the guy who I always get is super friendly too. You can pre book a cab with them over the phone, online, or even a text service where you register with them, text your location when you need a car and they text a confirmation back to you instantly. They boast 24 hours a day 365 days a year so if it is just the one driver, I don't expect him to be alive much longer!
