After my first loan experience (with someone else), I was not expecting much. In fact, the experience was so bad the only reason why I refinanced was because rates had dropped by almost 2% (couldn't keep throwing money away). Working with Kat was a whole different experience. First off, Kat is methodical, extremely methodical, and will have her ducks in a row before executing the process. You never have to worry about extending loan contingencies, or fine tooth combing her documents to make sure all the information is correct, because it is always correct. You never have to scramble for more documents (that were never requested) as deadlines draw near.   Secondly, Kat is a scenario wizard. Have a tricky situation? Throw it at Kat and she will patiently unravel and straighten the issue - providing unconventional solutions if/when needed. Third, Kat is a FANTASTIC communicator. I can't stress this enough. She does not over communicate, nor does she under communicate. I love that she uses a good mix of emails and over-the-phone to execute the loan. Finally, Kat's work ethic speaks for itself. They worked with the lender in creative ways to get my loan approved on a house I have been enjoying for over five years. They also helped me a few years later to re-finance the loan. They are continually detail oriented and they contacted me letting me know that rates had significantly dropped, if I was interested. I was able to get a loan almost two percentage points lower than the previous one, saving me hundreds of dollars a month. They are honest and have a vast knowledge of the industry. The lender they predominantly work with does require all paperwork to be in line and takes a few weeks to process everything, but Matt and Cherie will help you every step in this process.
