Dr Mayer was very thorough. He did a full exam to be sure nothing else was going on. I never felt rushed. He really seemed to care and interested in Harvey's daily routine. He cleaned Harvey's ears and did a culture in left ear. It turned out to be a yeast infection. He put medication in Harvey's ear and said we were good to go. Harvey loved Dr Mayer and every staff member he met. I use medicated wipes on Harvey's bulldog facial wrinkles. The clinic ordered them for me and I was able to pick them up the next day. I'm so glad we found this clinic. I highly recommend it!

Maddie cat will never be touched by any other vet and everyone I know who has an animal will know about this CARING AND COMPASSIONATE doctor!

He kept him alive, enjoying quality of life for the last several years after he was diagnosed with both renal and heart issues. He always accommodated my work schedule in order to provide the care and did so with compassion and gentleness. A few days ago Maurice started having seizures and Dr. Pete tried every medication and treatment available in order to save him. He came to the phone and spoke to me personally multiple times over the course of the the 8 days leading up to his demise. When he suffered a stroke we knew that he was suffering and gasping for breath. Dr. Pete assisted our boy with a painless and peaceful escape to eternal rest. He was extremely caring and it was obvious that it was hard for him to see Maurice in such distress and was deeply moved himself as he fulfilled his patient's care for the last time. He also made all the arrangements for a private cremation so that we could keep him forever with our family in his beautiful tiny urn. I recommend Dr. Pete and his staff completely. We, as well as our Maurice trusted them 100%.

While visiting Lafayette from Florida, one of our dogs began having diarrhea and GI issues and the other developed symptoms Sunday night. Broussard Veterinary Clinic was able to set an appointment to see a vet at 8am Monday morning, when other clinics we called would have had us waiting until late afternoon or evening. Dr. Hise's care set a standard impressive enough that we are reevaluating our current veterinary care at home.

I recommend this vet for all parrot and bird owners. A vet that knows birds vs. a vet that is only guessing could be the difference between life and death for a pet as delicate as a bird. Myself and a co-worker who both own parrots have brought our birds here and have been very pleased with the knowledge of the staff, especially Dr. Marullo. I took off one star on the review only because the front desk staff can sometimes be a bit short with you and rude especially on the phone, but the Dr. is super great.

I lost Daisy the next year, and I luckily knew were to find them, as they left their former employer. Opening pet passages was one of the most selfless things wither of them could have done.
