I ordered 95 railroad ties and they were all broken and rotten full of weeds and poison ivy. dug out of a hillside were they have been for 50 years or more I returned them to him in exchange for what he said he could guarantee hand-picked grade B quality railroad ties. I was at the north Jackson location with his operator, Chris May as he dug through the ties and went dump a pile in front of me. I sift it through them and we couldn't find any better that were better than the rotten and broken ones. I returned and at 3 o'clock, Chris left and I still had not gotten all my ties and I had maybe found only 10 solid ones that were worth anything, so no refund no ties and they just ignore my calls and text messages....

Hired Iron Eagle last summer to resurface my existing blacktop driveway. The driveway looks just…read moreOK, not great. My house is on a corner and there was a massive amount of asphalt debris in my yard, in my driveway drain, and in the street. They were ready to leave without any clean up until I said this debris needs swept up. I felt that they should leave my property in the same condition or better than when the arrived. Seems it was too much to ask. I asked Stan Golub about the driveway drain that was full of debris and he said "Oh that will just wash away down the drain". Seriously? I had to remove the grates and scoop out all of the debris myself. Also, the corner of the section between the sidewalk and the portion that continues to the street is uneven so that when it rains, I have a small pond in that corner. I called Stan and Iron Eagle to apprise them of the issue and they said "Where is the water coming from?" Again, Seriously??? They said they would have to come out after it rained to see what the issue was, however, I'm still waiting since last September 2024. Basically, sloppy work and no response after they collected the money.

Bryan did the estimate which he clearly did a poor job because later in the construction, they asked for more from my insurance. Dave was the manager on my case from Lewis. He forgot a lot of what he said would be done, cabinet guys did a terrible job at measuring and it took Lewis to redo the cabinet guys job 3x. Still living with half cabinet space. The floor was another issue. Someone again did not measure correctly and took some of my floor up. Dave suggest like 4-5 different tiles that did not match. He said he didn't want to asked Bryan to fix the floor as it would add to the cost Lewis would be paying. They left water damaged walls, electrical issues, paint issues, careless mistakes that I had to constantly go back and tell them to fix. After questioning out of pocket cost on my end, they immediately threatened legal contact if I didn't pay. Great business, NOT. Do not trust this company even if your insurance suggests them.

BEWARE: Hired Lewis Construction to make easy insurance repairs to my home after breakin and…read more vandalism. The quality of the work was substandard and poor. The work started off well but then Lewis ran into issues with quality of the work. Plumbing repairs kept leaking. Toilet set crooked, smooth plaster looked like waves on an ocean, they left doors, windows, garage open in the October and November creating $1000 Gas Bill, let a toilet running that created a $250 water bill, they washed out paint brushes in my luxury bath tub, dumped paint down the kitchen sink, dumped paint poor down mop sink, when the tub was sealed, it was sealed wrong and water would not drain, did not prime to paint, claimed they used tinted primer which they could not show the primer to me, had to repaint, and painted the wrong colors, left the house unlocked on numerous occasions, and reuined 100 year old hard wook floors in three rooms by not taking care of my home properly scratching the floor. The job took months to complete. After all was said and done the work was completed but Lewis said I was hard to satisfy. How about not tear up a Home on the Historic Register in the process, respect my home, and not destroy it in the process and then tell me I am hard to satisfy? If you have months of your life to waste in poor workmanship and then have the poor work blamed on the home owner, go for it.
