Great deals on remnant stock for small projects I have, started using it more for work and it's been a great resource in a pinch and save on shipping/material cost. Love coming here and just browsing, always find something new to keep in mind for another project later. Staff service has always been great as well, never had a bad experience with the counter people or people helping in the back. Had one instance where an order was sent to the wrong location, but was handled very well and thankfully it came at a time when it wasn't essential. Just had it shipped to the store and picked up later. No drama. Highly recommend this place if you need something or if you haven't been just to take a look around!

I recently asked for their help to order new casters for the bed, and Sam guided me through my options (at no charge) so that I would order the appropriate replacements. When the casters arrived, they sent their guy Jimmy to our house to replace the casters on the bed. These guys are extraordinarily generous with their time and expertise. All of the people I have encountered at Robeck's are respectful, ethical, and kind. I can't imagine getting better service anywhere.

Then a few months later I needed something powder coated i gave them a call, they don't do powder coating but were still super friendly and hooked me up who they use, SRS Industrial Coatings in Santa Clara, and they are just as wonderful! When I picked up the piece, I was surprised to see the attention to detail on the finish. Although I had not asked for it, all of the edges had been rounded. When I mentioned to Suki how impressed I was and that I hadn't even asked him to do this (since I was on a budget and wanted to keep the cost down. I had planned to use tape along the edges.) he said that since he knew it was going in my kids room, he wanted to make sure there was no chance they would get injured. Outstanding work. I came to Precise Auto Repair in the late afternoon for some car maintenance. I…read more specifically came to do a tire rotation. I met Tom who was the owner of the business. I was talking to him to see if he had time to do the tire rotation service as well as dropping off my car and picking up my car at a later date. Here's the interesting thing : I was pleasantly surprised during my conversation because wow oh wow the business definitely has a great reputation because other customers were calling the office and interrupting my conversation with him. I was not expecting the business to be so busy. This is a great sign. Tom told me that he could do my tire rotation on that day and that I don't need to come back another time. He was honest and he keeps his word, he means what he says. He was able to do the tire rotation service in less than 1 hour and wow I was definitely surprised. I highly recommend talking to Tom about your car. I highly recommend Precise Auto Repair.

I don't write reviews often but Chet's deserves one here…read more I took my 2007 Honda CRV to Chet's (Vu), as I was having steering issues and some noises after recent repair from two different mechanics. Vu took it immediately for a test drive with me in the passenger seat. He could feel the same issue I did. He then put it on the lift and inspected it thoroughly. He wasn't sure of the issue exactly but was transparent in the discussion and thinking. Given the car had been worked on recently by others, I can understand why he would be hesitant to take it on. He noted that "my reputation is more important than one car" or similar, which I understand and respect too, as he said he has been in business for 20 years. He considered his best recommended repair with available information but wasn't pushing it, as it's a pricey repair. Looking to get a second opinion, he then had a different co-worker take another look. The co-worker slid under the car and was able to identify an issue, which was a loose bolt from the prior mechanic. The team right then lifted the car and tightened all the bolts, then took it on a second test drive, and the sounds went away and the steering issue seemed improved. Vu spent about an hour on this work combined with another 15-20 minutes from two or three other people too. After all that, he told me not to pay anything, though I offered! He could have pushed the more expensive repair and I would have very likely gone ahead with it, but he didn't. I need to test drive it further to see how it ddrives, but Vu said if still having issues to come back then to discuss where we go from there. For now, the sounds at least have gone away which is promising! Thank you!!!

Even though Vu was single handed and getting multiple phone calls, Vu was still very patient in discussing repair options. Dropped off my car around 9:30am and got a call back around 2:30pm saying repair was completed. Instead of having a couple of sensors replaced (~$300), Vu said he had found and replaced a rat chewed cable connector (~$60) that resolved check engine light. He charged me for cable connector and honest labor, and car is running fine again. I know where I will be taking my car for any future repairs.

He worked diligently with me to shop around for the same casting and he ultimately offered to try and machine and pressure test it to see if it'll work.
