He referred me to the surgeon Dr. Morris with Nevada Eye Consultants and one of my surgeries was botched and needs a lens exchange. Way more dangerous than the initial cataract surgery. Also my follow up appointment was canceled in error, and I had to travel over 150 miles in a taxi to go from Fallon to Reno after the 30 mile ride to Fallon from Fernley then back to Fernley after Reno. Koenig is on Hiatus and his young son who is new to his practice replaced him. I would do business in Reno. Terrible customer service and unprofessional rude, unapologetic staff!

He was nervous to come in as he has never had his eyes checked and she spoke to him like her was stupid and kept sighing like he was an idiot. Berated him for being 5 minutes late when we were actually 15 minutes early but no one was there to help him so we left and came back and she acted like we were idiot children (in our 30s by the way). Also, don't make appointments for 8am then not have the door unlocked for 8am appointments that's asinine. If she were my front desk and a clients first impression I would be incredibly embarrassed.

DeMers is fantastic, every year they allow us to walk in without an appointment at anytime of day. We hand off her prescription and they get us right in and help her choose the perfect pair. Every person we have worked with is extremely friendly and very knowledgable. Their knew office is so spacious and welcoming. Such a great set up to have several glasses consults happening all at the same time, allowing people to get in and out quickly. The glasses selection here is huge! We particularly love how large of a selection they have for children. My daughter looks forward to picking out her new glasses every year and we will continue coming back for a great expereince.

Now, because someone claiming to be a medical professional throws a hissy over a lack of a handshake snd then refuses to keep the appointment his staff made I'm forced to have to find another opthamologist for any future needs. They were booked out for new patients pretty far. The visit was great. The optomotrist took her time to explain issues with my dry eyes and what I can do to minimize the issue. I was also fitted for some really unique frames. They have a large selection of on trend and classic style frames. I will be using them as my eye doctors from now on.
