If I could give more stars I would! This review is a bit late due to the fact we are off grid and didn't have any internet service. I was shocked to see ANY complaints about Roberts Quality Moving since they were not only ON TIME, but they were incredible with unloading and placing items in our container. He even recommended another moving company here in Kingman because we had another trip to get stuff and needed to unload and he was not available. Just a little background, we just moved here from S. Calif. We had planned on two trips total with a 26 ft rental truck we had rented for a week but after the incompetence of the "professional movers" we hired on both ends (since we would have items loaded in Calif, then unloaded in AZ) we ended up having the truck for two weeks and then having to rent it again for another week. All these companies over promised and under delivered. They were late, didn't have the number of workers we said we needed, one company said they lift heavy items and then the day of our unload said they couldn't unload our items since they were too heavy for two of them when we had asked for 4 people. We had another company on the Calif end that ended up breaking items in transport since they said they had commercial drivers and would lift some of the pressure off of us. This is just some of the horror stories and I could go on. It was a miracle that we found Roberts moving company. Robert and his crew showed up on time, had strong men who knew how to move things and unload and they even rearranged things in our container including taking off the backs of our couches to make more room that the other movers didn't even attempt. His guys pulled things out and rearranged so we could get more things in our container and we didn't even ask them. They handled all our items with care and experience. They knew not to put heavy boxes on small boxes or fragile items, they knew not to just stuff things in just to get the job done. They took their time, yet finished over an hour earlier then we had booked them for. They worked hard and didn't complain like the other companies we had hired and it was well over 105 in the baking sun without any air conditioning or shade. They were troopers and extremely professional. Unlike the other companies that just wanted to get in and out and be paid for time not even worked. I plan on hiring Robert again to help us move items from the container into our house, garage and quanset. I wouldn't even think about hiring another company and hoping they can do 1/2 the job as Robert and his crew did when I already know they can move heavy things, show up on time and get the job done correctly and how we want and need to have it done. I would be very happy to answer anyones questions regarding using this company since they deserve 5 stars and reviews from over a year ago shouldn't be taken in consideration especially if they ended up never using them in the end! Just a side note: We hired Robert last minute when he 1st came out, unfortunately Robert was booked the rest of the weeks that we really could have used him or we would have hired him again and again. He did give us another movers name, but due to miscommunication we ended up not using them. We said we would wait till Roberts available again! Just can't say enough about this company since we have been through hell and back with several of the other companies! read more

I'd give zero stars if I could! My brother set up the move weeks in advance to move our father, out of state, to be closer to family. My brother confirms the week before, talks with Robert the night before, "yeah, yeah, got you on the books!" My brother flies from Seattle, two of us drive from San Diego to Lake Havasu. We are all in our 60's, dad is 83. Saturday morning, no show!!! Middle of July, monsoon humidity, brutal! All they had to do is call, nothing was acknowledged, we called 3x , voicemail once and nothing afterwards! We loaded a houseful full of furniture, tools and boxes ourselves! Total failure, no communication, unreliable, call anyone else! Recommended by UHaul, then they admit they've had many complaints also. Beware, if you can't move your house when they don't show up, don't use them! Still no communication, my brother did get his money refunded. DO NOT USE THEM! U Haul should remove them from the "recommendation." read more

After an easy process of scheduling Roberts Quality Moving through UHaul truck rental, have to say a disappointing experience. I called to confirm appointment and reached their voicemail that stated if we had a confirmation code from UHaul, all is good and that they will confirm the day before. I called them the day before and did confirm with them I was scheduled and they would be there. Moving day came - no Roberts Quality Moving. No call. Nothing. Called three times through the morning at different hours- no call back after leaving messages to call. If you are looking for a reliable mover, Roberts Quality Movers is *NOT *the correct choice unless you also schedule a reliable backup. Called UHaul after I managed to move all into the truck ourselves and did receive a full refund. Disappointed. Do Not Use! read more

As an 80 year old woman, I was overwhelmed with moving from an apartment we had lived in for 18 years to a house we purchased 1.4 miles away. It was July in Laughlin and temperatures were soaring. Although with the help of friends boxes had been packed, they were everywhere!!! The guys who arrived were so nice and helpful. They told me the best way was to get the boxes moved and they immediately started working. They took apart the items that needed it. They shrink wrapped some of the furniture and wrapped them well in moving quilts. There was some shade when they packed the truck but there was no shade when they unloaded. It was miserably hot but they kept on until the job was well done. They worked efficiently and fast. They were a team and worked well together. I highly recommend them to anyone needing moving help. Thank you guys! I appreciate you. read more

Horrible horrible horrible. They called the morning of my move and said someone called in sick and they would be about 2 hours late. 3 hours later got a call from the supervisor saying their truck broke down and they couldn't come. They promised they would e there at 8 am next morning. Never called, never showed up - Nothing. It cost me over a $1 000 extra to get someone to load us (and they were not professional s so they couldn't get everything in the truck). My husband and I both took terrible falls trying to help, we had to keep the truck longer and now still have to go back and do it all over again for another $3,000. I just don't understand why they were so unprofessional and didn't call. I'm still trying to get in touch with them to discuss this matter. Hate to take this to court but I will if I don't hear from them. read more

Called Roberts moving VERY last minute. Spoke with Robert. He was very helpful and accommodating. He had four guys come and unpack our U-Haul. Very helpful, thorough and fast. Would use again. Thank you. read more

Called them for assistance with a move, they said they would send 2 movers. 1 of their movers didn't show, so they brought a 12 year old boy who was the grand son of the mover to help. Along with only sending 1 person, their mover asked me to help carry things to the truck in which he loaded. When I arrived to my location and hired another moving company to unload, they instantly showed me damages to all kinds of items that weren't loaded correctly. I called Robert to discuss this and he instantly said he wasn't covering anything and that I had assisted loading (which I did not), After calling my a liar repeatedly he changed it too "I don't cover damages unless pictures are taken prior to unload, it's in my contract.", I reviewed his contract to also find this not true. After a 3rd call he stated "well I don't cover things that would have been damaged anyways over that long of a distance.". I offered to let all damaged items go if he would just pay for the couch, he said he would look into it once he got back into state. Ignored my calls and messages, finally got him on the phone and he told me "you helped him load, it's on you. I'm not covering anything.", also at this point he made sure to text me and tell me that my Walmart tv and Amazon couch aren't worth anything. Don't do business with this company. read more

Called and made an appointment to move some things from our storage shed to new house. Promised they'd be there. Called and confirmed twice. The morning of the move, we waited an hour and they never showed up. Texted them twice and nothing. So TWO hours later, they call and left message saying that they were at the storage facility the whole time. I'm curious how they got into the storage facility without our gate card? If they were sitting there, why didn't they call us or answer our texts? If you just couldn't show up at the agreed upon time, or there was a delay, why not call the customer? Since the last movers didn't show up or call, we assumed they weren't going to show either and had to hire someone else. Don't know what's going on here. read more

I had John and Dave come move my 4 bedroom into 3 storage units. They did an amazing job. It took 2 trips, but they did a wonderful job unassembling, protecting and packing my stuff into the truck safely. It allowed me to run some errands while they continued. They started at 7:30AM and finished around 6. Keep in mind that's 2 trips to the storage unit. I cannot write a good enough review about these two. Professional, funny and helpful. I wish everyone could get them to help move because they took all the stress of moving right away. I am using them again this month to move from the storage unit into a new house and I fully trust they will handle it smoothly. Thank you Roberts Moving ! Not to mention the best prices in town and in Mohave county. read more

Pissed off in Wisconsin. I called Roberts movers to move my 90 year old mother in Wisconsin. He gave my name and number to his associate here, since he had moved to Arizona. We sent the deposit as requested and set things up but we had to move the date because of circumstances beyond our control. I kept in touch with Tylor to keep him informed, he said "no problem". The week of the move, everything was set. The day before the move, no one would answer my call. The day of the move, no one answered so I had to pay more money to get someone else to move Mom on short notice. I called the main number to inform Robert what happened. He called back and told me what had happened with the move and he would make good on the deposit. That was 2 months ago and I am still waiting. Robert no longer returns my calls. This company does not even deserve 1 star! Next stop BBB read more

Drew and Tanya were the best! They picked up our 6 pods at UHAUL and drove them to our new home and cautiously unloaded them. They were so helpful placing each box or piece of furniture exactly where we wanted. They both were delightful and so enjoyable to spend the day with. The moving process is not easy but these 2 were the highlight of our experience. Highly recommend!! read more

When I went to this site to write a review I was surprised at some of the negative comments, as I had a totally opposite experience with this business. Robert's Quality Moving is just that. Quality. My move was a 2,000 mile one. When it was in the planning stage I received estimates from several companies (with no websites/reviews/etc online)that were relatively inexpensive. I later found out these were brokers for major van lines. How could they give me these estimates without even knowing how much inventory was involved? Robert came to my home, viewed my inventory, and gave me a quote. Yes, it was more than the brokers, but the old adage was true: "You get what you pay for." Robert and his crew carefully packed all my furnishings in 100+temperatures, stored everything awaiting the move, reloaded the truck, and settled me in according to MY timeline. Any times and dates were exactly what I specified. They were always prompt. This company never kept me waiting. I would be remiss if I failed to mention that my car was also moved for me on a flatbed trailer. No matter if your move is far or near Rogert's Quality Moving is a company I would highly recommend. read more

When I called Robert on Wednesday for a move 4 hours away after being told NO by every other mover in Bullhead City and Lake Havasu City, I felt I found an angel as this was a "Get out of town as fast as you can'" move. Robert listened to my story with empathy and said he'd have people at my home Friday morning at 9. I was relieved and Friday came, but the movers called at 8 am and were 20 minutes away. I wasn't finished nor prepared for an early arrival, but so be it. The gentlemen moved my loose items, bags, and boxes (no furniture at the house) into the truck within a few hours, but we still had a local 10x10 storage unit to empty. I had to leave some personal items behind as I watched the clock and my money fly by. The gentlemen would hustle at times but often had to be redirected from their vaping and smoking breaks. I did provide a UNION break as well as took a 15 minute break together. Once at the storage space, the movers after putting things in the truck, they realized they had no tie downs to secure for the kitchen table, chairs, small side tables, and queen mattress and box spring from moving around in the truck. (Isn't this standard procedure?? Rope? Tie downs?? Hello?? You are movers these items should be with you at all times, like a teacher with a pencil.)I had to take the extra time to go purchase these items that they should've had with them while the clock ticked on. Once purchased and on the road, Robert had promised me there would be another mover would be in the Phoenix area to help unload the truck into the new storage space to help with the time. That mover didn't show up until an after i had arrived. The movers were there before I was and weren't allowed into the space because of the lack of communication on storage facility administration. In fact, I was shocked and very upset to find out where the storage facility was, as I was told it would be closer and not as far. Disappointed in the storage people. The gentleman hustled and took off some time for me going to buy the tie downs and the price of the tie downs. It was an 11 hour day that should've been maybe an 8 hour day and paying $85 an hour plus a tip to the guys and with no call from Robert to see how things went, or how I was doing as he knew the situation I was in leaves a sour taste in my mouth. He was quick to take my payment though. Buyer beware. Bring your tie downs and whistle. Good Luck. read more
