Robert installed a new garbage disposal, 2 toilets and 4 fans. Throughout the service, he was courteous, easy to communicate with and was really a pleasure to have at our house. The attention to detail was excellent. For instance, he made sure to read the warranty information of the fans thoroughly before powering on to make sure we did not violate any terms. I needed a few fence posts replaced and reached out to a few places. Most of them were super flakey, or overpriced. I saw a few recommendation for Robert's Handyman Service on NextDoor, so decided to reach out. Robert was quick to respond and had very fair pricing. He came out to assess the fence and didn't change the quote he provided earlier. He was able to schedule me in a few days later and completed the job the same day. He did a great job replacing the posts and getting everything back together. Robert also took the time to adjust and secure quite a number of fence boards all along the fence at no additional cost. Robert has a great work ethic, gets the job done, and makes sure you are happy with his work before he leaves. I look forward to working with Robert on future projects. read more

Robert agreed to do the work and start in a few days. He said he can charge by the hour but quoted a job price. Next day I asked if he can do it hourly since he said would take only 1/2 day which he agreed. I had a strong feeling he would not show up and sure enough he was a no show even with a grace window of 8-9 am. I texted him and told him I cancelled his service for not showing up. An hour later he texted saying he didn't hear his alarm and a scripted statement of apology. Nothing like, 'OMG I'm so sorry I overslept, I can be over there right now! or Let me make this right.' But rather a stale statement of apology. So I knew he planned on being a NO SHOW. A 1/2 day's work is too small when he can't charge more. Fortunately I went with another handyman who came that afternoon, finished the job quickly, did an wonderful job and was eager to work!! And he cost less but I paid him more than what I would have paid Robert because he was a genuine. Careful what you ask for here. read more

Got recommendation from Nextdoor so I decided to give Robert a call. Our kitchen sink was clogged and we tried contacting our regular plumber and handyman, but no one responded. Not only that, I asked him if he could check out a leak on my patio roof and straighten my turbine that was blown to its side from January storm.
