Poor service through their negative attitude and lack of communication…read more For the most part they were rude, moody and petulant. Skookum was very poor at communicating. They left you in the dark. They disliked dealing with the client. You are an annoyance to them. The co-owner/mechanic is knowledgeable, experienced and competent. The work he did was good. He performed the major repairs. However, their only other mechanic? who was left to finish off the repairs did not complete the jobs and his work was left uninspected and unrectified. I had to correct his work and complete the works myself. At $175/hour! Not impressed! They claim it was from a lack of time. False. Time was not the issue, they just didn't care about completing the work, and correctly, needed done to comply with survey. After long a month of waiting, I just left. This was a frustrating, unpleasant, and expensive experience.

He then took it personal and started calling me names, when all I wanted was a last service record of the 15hp 2 stroke he was selling. Really strange interaction. Incredibly unprofessional.

Awesome place for sail repair!!…read more We sailed up from San Francisco and needed repairs done on both sails. We called in and were on a tight schedule, but they got us in straight away! They had 2 sailmakers working on our main and jib to get us back in shape! They were able to order the exact Sunbrella we wanted and had it in 2 days. They did excellent work, had a quick turn around and were super helpful in getting us back sailing!

I…read morehad gone here with my daughter and were treated so terribly. my daughters pants were hemmed to two different lengths, the shorter leg unfortunately being too short. Even though there are photos of proof of how the pants were to be hemmed correctly the owner Nayer took no accountability for the error made by her seamstres. My daughter was treated as though this was her error. The seamstress Tina had only pinned one leg(the right one) and that was the correct pant leg length-yet the owner saw the picture with the pinned pants and no ownership on their part was taken. An apology and accountability would have been nice but instead we were met with a too bad so sad over my daughters 300$ pants. Stay away if you do not want to be treated like this.

I've had tuxedo jackets lengthened, jeans hemmed, jeans turned into shorts, dress shirts taken in as well as released and every time it has been superbly done. True Stich Marine did excellent work on our Bimini enclosure. We were on a time crunch, hoping to…read morego on a week-long boating trip to Desolation Sound and Malcolm Island, when we discovered that our enclosure zipper was ripped and some of our plastic was cracked.
