But I can tell you that Dr. Naser absolutely put me at ease, just as he always does. Just before he was about to start, he set a positive and comfortable atmosphere. It instantly eased the slight nerves I had. I could barely even tell when the tooth was removed when he was at work. He even exclaimed "It's a boy!" as he took it out, haha! The extraction was also not long, mind you, which is another testament to his skill. I also highly recommend my hygienist, Haya! I hope i wrote her name correctly. She is so gentle and kind, perfect for anyone who wants an effective job done. Dr. Naser is an absolute gem, and his service cannot be beat! I know that with him, I'm always in good hands. I truly wish I could give more stars because his work is just that phenomenal! If you're looking for a good dentist in San Diego, this is THE place to go! It all popped right off today when I went to meet with Dr. OLSEN about my invisalign retainers. I am going to have to have him fix all of the bonding that I had done. I will never go to The Shores again. The shores is like a low end dental establishment. I only went there because they took my insurance. I had to pay for a consult today and now I have to pay to have my teeth/bonding fixed. The bonding job that The Shores Dental did was a botched job. My real dentist literally flossed my teeth and it popped right off. I am in complete shock I guess it's like going to a good plastic surgeon and a botched one. Stay away!

I was seen by a dental hygienist right away and soon after, Dr. Aldabe. They both were very friendly and considerate. They were attentive and really listened to my needs and concerns. They were very professional and gentle with my procedures. I also appreciated that Dr. Aldabe checked in often to make sure that I was comfortable and not in pain. I especially liked that the doctor took the time out to set up an active care plan for me detailing the course of action to get me to my dream smile. I've always had incredible dentists, that is until I started going to Tierrasanta Dental Group…read more Office Experience: Every appointment I have had so far I have arrived and then they've told me that the appointment has to be rescheduled (staffing, appointment type, etc...). They don't call in advance to notify you and wait until you've driven all the way there. For me, that has meant I've had to find childcare or time off work to make the appointment just for them to cancel. Care Quality: In 40+ years, I've never had a cleaning where the dentist didn't come in after the cleaning to do a check of your teeth, until this dental group. In multiple appointments, I've seen the dentist for less than 5 mins and never after a cleaning. Type of Care: This office talked me into doing a deep cleaning (which wasn't necessary according to my prior dentist that I saw just before I moved to this area). I thought after pregnancy it would be a great idea to do it though, so I agreed. What they didn't tell me was that all future cleanings would therefore require a Perio Maintenance charge, that my insurance wouldn't cover. Customer Service: After I received the statement from my most recent cleaning with the Perio Maintenance charge, I called about this unauthorized charge. I spoke with the office manager, Leticia, about 3 weeks ago and she assured me she'd talk to someone that needed to authorize a write off and give me a call back. She never did. I called 3 times and left messages with her colleagues and she never called back. Today I called and she answered. She kept rehashing the same thing she's already shared with me numerous times about their process. When I try to speak to share my perspective she shuts me down and says I'm not letting her speak. I was respectful in trying to interject, but if she keeps restating the same thing over and again and not letting me speak, I'm not sure how else to resolve. She said she'd get back to me by the end of the week and essentially hung up on me. The challenge with this particular clinic is they are more interested in revenue and upselling than patient care or customer service. It stood out the very first appointment and this situation continues to highlight it. I never leave reviews, but the experience warrants it.

Melissa at the front desk made scheduling so easy and effortless. Savannah, my hygienist, did my cleaning and took my X-rays; she was amazing! She had the best bedside manner, was gentle during the cleaning, and very thorough. This was hands down the best cleaning I've ever had! Then I was passed on to the doctor side, where I met another wonderful team member named Grace, who was also kind and explained everything that was going to happen. Finally, the highlight was Dr. Kullberg. She did my exam and reviewed any findings. She is incredibly meticulous in everything she does and explains things so they're easy to understand. She's not pushy about any treatments and instead offers options. I see why she has so many patients and why I will continue seeing her and her entire team. I will definitely be recommending her to my family and friends. I highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for sincere honest quality care.

My actual procedure went very well and Dr. Olin is amazing.*** I had my consultation appointment with Dr. Olin on November 3, 2025 after he was highly recommended by my orthodontist. My consultation included imaging and then 45 minutes of face to face time with Dr. Olin where he explained the plan in depth. I was told that everything would be sent for authorization. I called the office on Friday, November 21st to follow up as I had not received anything from my insurance. I was told by the front office that I needed to have the orthodontist place the palate expander prior to scheduling surgery. This was an error and they were going to check with the doctor and call me back. I never received a call. I followed up 2 weeks later and I checked-in with my orthodontist. I called again and spoke with Brandi, who was handling my auth and scheduling. She let me know the paperwork hadn't been signed. Okay, it's the end of the year, I get it. I told her my goal was to schedule and follow through with the procedure ASAP. I called again after Christmas and spoke with Brandi. No update. I expressed that this was frustrating and I understood that it was not her fault. She agreed that she would also be frustrated. To make a long story shorter, my orthodontic team needed to get involved as there was minimal information and communication from Brandi. If I did call, answers were short and it sounded as though she may be irritated. I finally received auth in late January. Scheduling was just as difficult. Finally get a date scheduled for 5/21 and moved to 4/16, amazing! Pre op is scheduled for 4/13. On 4/3, I called and spoke to Brandi to confirm and asked if we had further details, such as a time. No. The day of my pre-op, all goes to plan until I go to check out and schedule post op appointments. I was told I had a $1500 copay and that I should have been notified. I said I was not and that my copay according to my insurance plan was $0. I asked to see the documentation and the girl at the front desk didn't have it but was told that the insurance company said to collect this amount. I asked to speak to the office manager at this point and was told she was working from home that afternoon but she would call me. I paid the copay because I didn't want to risk losing my procedure date. I called my insurance company immediately after leaving and was told the copay was incorrect, that it was $0, and they had no documentation on their end stating I was to pay $1500. The rep called and spoke to Brandi while I was on hold and when he came back on the line, he said immediately asked if I knew a Brandi. I confirmed and he let me know he had to tell her she could not charge me the copay and that the comment "She should be thankful because she's getting a 60k surgery," was made. He let me know I she was going to void the charges. I called to confirm and Brandi picks up the phone and says,"I'm doing it now." No hello, nothing. I asked if the transaction fee would also be returned. "Yes," and she hung up on me. I followed up via email asking for the transaction receipt and proof of void, and let them know I was happy to pay any patient portion due and I would need to see documentation. I received the transaction receipt and no other response. Surgery came and went. All was well and when I came in for my post op, I asked to speak with the office manager prior to me leaving. I initially told she would call me but when I asked if she was available this afternoon and I would wait, I waited for a few minutes with my husband to speak with Christina. When we sat down with her, I asked if she was familiar with my case and what had happened. She started with "I understand your frustration is targeted on Brandi. ". She followed up with the fact that I had received my money back and it was an error. I let her know that I was really upset with the tone of the service I received and it was so negative that when I was asked by Dr. Olin to move my post op appointment, I didn't want to call incase I spoke with Brandi due to the poor interactions. When I mentioned what my insurance rep said to me, she said it couldn't have happened because she sits next to Brandi. Remember, she was out of the office that afternoon. Christina did not appear to hear my concerns and dismissively said she looked into it. When I seemed unsatisfied, she asked what I was looking for. I replied that I just wanted her to really hear me so that there could be improvements made. Again the answer was very dismissive to the point that I asked if I was even welcome back in the future. I may need another surgery and Dr. Olin is amazing. She said yes and seemed surprised. Long story short, I don't know if change will happen but I hope so.
