And as a result of me putting a formal complaint about it within the hospital, I got rude uncaring unsympathetic cold terrible awful upsetting calls not caring at all what I went through or my terrible experience or what Dr. Hamdi did wrong to me: from Dr Dalton (Medical Director/Chief of Ob/Gyn), and also Elaine Desmarais (Assistant VP, Performance Improvement, Regulatory and Corporate Compliance). I can't believe what a terribly run women's center this is and the lack of respect for women they have! I'm outraged, shocked, traumatized, upset, and appalled! Today when I went for an emergency…read morecheck-up, they were almost 15 minutes behind (I had almost the first appointment), no one asked if I needed to use the ladies room first (as they used to), and the woman at the check-in/out desk was nothing short of miserable. It's like they just hate their job, already at 8:15 am. My actual doctor was THE SWEETEST, and referred me to schedule my next appointment to swap out birth control, only to deal with the front desk woman again who says A. They don't have anyone to do a swap that month except for 1 singular day at their Westerly office, and then when I asked how/where I would go about scheduling it elsewhere if need be, and she was a total twat about it; "you can look that up yourself." "Okay, but WHERE do I start?! Doctors office? RN? OB?" she just answered "another OBGYN". Totally unhelpful, unfriendly, and honestly makes me not want to return EVER! And I've been here 15+ years AND my mom came before me. Sad sad state of affairs this office is in, especially with the poor "bedside manner" of the "face of the business." Very unimpressed today, and leaving discouraged.

Worst experience I have ever had the displeasure of having at any doctor or dentist. I was there…read morefor a broken tooth that needed extracting. I unintentionally left my x-rays at home and the rude staff expressed their displeasure with eye rolls, stating "What a great start to the day". In the chair, I let the nurse know that I usually required at least two doses of novocaine. She curtly responded "we give you enough". The Doctor shuffled in, didn't introduce himself or even speak to me, just picked up the needle and said this will sting and jabbed me. After a few minutes later I still didn't feel numb and told them the tooth still hurt. Dr. Mellane jabbed me anyway, making me jump and he let out an exasperated sigh. He jabbed me with more novocaine and after a few minutes started working on the tooth. I was still not numb enough. He managed to get half the tooth out while i cried out and writhed in pain. He stopped when I cried out particularly loudly and just stood there looking away from me for at least a minute. It was extremely awkward and I finally asked "what's next?." He responded that i wasnt going to get anymore numb and that I could either wait until I finished the antibiotics I was on or I could "Deal with it". I decided to finish my antibiotics rather than have my tooth dug out of my gum when I wasn't even numb. The attitude of everyone in this office, the receptionist, the nurse and the dentist, was so cold and unsympathetic. I was referred because I have state dental and felt that my treatment was a direct result of that. I will never return to this office and would not recommend them to my worst enemy

The doctor and assistant were very comforting and thorough in their diagnosis ( pink eye). She not only gave me sample, she write the prescription to my pharmacy. I really recommend this office. The voicemail that you are directed to for contact lenses is always full. I left a message with the third party that they use to schedule appts. I have tried dialing every number that the phone redirects to. They even ignored my smoke signal. I finally went into the building today. The women at the desk were very friendly. I explained my situation and that I needed to reorder contacts through their portal (Abby). They handed me a prescription and I went merrily on my way thinking I would once again have the ability to see in no time only to find out that the doctor has to go into the portal to update the prescription. I have always had a good experience with the doctors who I have seen. It is a shame to move on as a patient, but this is not the first time that it has been impossible to order contacts. I feel as though the patient experience dramatically decreased over the last few years.
