After they left, we found old mouse poop on the floor of our kitchen from when they rushed to clean the oven tray at the end of the job, old mouse poop around our fireplace on the tile grout, beads and other debris on the floorboards, dust on top of each closet rack, cobwebs in the corners of our bathroom and dust on top of the shower head. We continue to discover areas that were never wiped down, including the insides of drawers. I called to let them know and ask for a rebate, and they were only able to offer $25 or half off a future cleaning. Given how much was missed on the last job, we don't feel we could trust them to clean our home in a future job. If you hire them, be sure to ask to check everything before they leave.

If not, then maybe you should.. then give Gant Burnett Architects a standing ovation. GBA is a very small architecture firm located at the intersection of N. Charles and Mulberry St. in downtown Baltimore and of course, you can't miss the building because it has the only purple door. My thoughts are that maybe GB Architects hasn't received any astounding reviews on Yelp (as of yet) due to the fact that not many people pay attention to the beauty that Baltimore may actually possess - however this is just a theory. Have you ever seen the rather large John Hopkins University Campus? Well then you've seen GBA's work. I would say that more than half of the campus is GBA projects. How about the Bateman's in Towson or the Hippodrome Cafe? Ever been to these establishments? Probably won't be a surprise to you that GBA has also designed these places. I think giving credit, where credit is due is indeed pertinent - so Gant Burnett deserved a review from an outsiders perspective. Essentially, this review is merely to invite all of you "Marylander's" to stop and take a longer look at the beautiful city before you because you may just find an appreciation for something that you've never noticed about good ol' "Charm City".

They gouged the FRESHLY painted walls to the point we needed to pay someone to Spackle/sand/paint the walls because we were out of time before a lead inspection/Open house and we would've been dinged for a gouge in the wall. At first Barry claimed he would pay us for the repair to the wall (via Zelle, his preferred method) , claiming they didn't do it; then claiming if one of his team members did it, he wasn't aware. We had the wall repaired and then suddenly Barry would not respond to a single message, did not pay for the repair which was MORE money out of our pocket and he denied the Zelle request. So not only was our house NOT cleaned, he did not keep his word regarding paying for damage that was NOT there prior to "his team" entering. We are filing fraud with our bank, contacting BBB for the work ethic, among other means to rectify this nightmare experience. Never again. Whatever, because I could care less about that. The very first time they came to clean, they didn't wipe all the bathroom items down all the way, so it took for us to request for them to wipe those down more thoroughly for that to happen. Also, as I mentioned above, counter top surfaces aren't wiped down meticulously. I noticed the area where we usually eat on the kitchen counter top still had tiny food crumbs/spills, which were easily wiped away when I went over that area and wiped it down. I expect thoroughness over speed. We switched cleaning ladies and companies, and the previous ladies made sure to clean and wipe down all surfaces spotlessly, so maybe that's why I am being so particular. I was especially concerned about lingering pet odors since I have two cats, but the team used special products, and by the time they finished, there was no trace of any Cats living there and the place looked and smelled great. It took 2 people 3 hrs to clean a 1 person occupied apartment with less than 1300 sq ft (2 bedroom, loft, 2 bathrooms, very small kitchen, and dining/living room space) and no pets. I was charged $270. My oven cleaning was waived because they had to cancel the first appointment. (-)They don't charge until after the job is completed and per their policy they "process payments within 24 to 48 hours after your job is done. We do this for 2 reasons, first & foremost, to make sure you are 100% satisfied with our services and at that time we would know the actual time cleaning". I only gave them 3 stars because I provided my feedback that there were several items still dirty such as the outside surface of oven, bathroom toilet paper holders, kitchen sink faucet. They charged the full amount and didn't offer to come back and fix my concerns. (-)I didn't inform the cleaning service but I had LED string lights around some furniture that were positioned in February '17 and upon my return home they were no longer working.
