This evaluation is for the office support of Dr. Stark, it was impossible to see him.
I wanted to see a cholesterol specialist like Dr. Stark whose credentials seem excellent according to what is published in internet. I was looking forward to the appointment. However, I did not like the process from the start; in November 2013, for obtaining the appointment I felt reluctance and rudeness from the admin. The fact was that the admin that took the call did not want to grant the appointment in spite of having a referral and current insurance.
When I arrived to the appointment in January, the admin that was there that day (January 16th), same person who took the phone appointment; she stated that she did not have my contact information in spite of having provided it several times, according to her my history was not available and she could not reach me (in spite of having given my information several times). I feel she could have let me know that in the month and a half plus that had elapsed. I tried to get the medical history at that moment and the admin. Complained in a nasty manner about the medical history arriving during her lunch hour (the fax arrived in less than 5 minutes and her lunch hour according to her was in 20 minutes). I did not feel properly treated by her neither at the appointment nor during the call to obtain it. So I cancelled the appointment.
I do not think that it is possible to see the doctor while this person controls access to him, this is sad because he seems to have very good credentials. Personally I have lost almost 3 months by trying to get another appointment after these incidents. read more
