Dr. Mee talked me through the process, why medication didn't work for me in the past, and why it will this time. Dr. Mee is PROMPT in responding with emails and saw me within a week of my request for an appointment. Yes, medication takes awhile (2 months for me) to really kick in, but once it did, I have not felt this good in at least 5 if not 7 years. Though medication won't erase everything hard about Life, I am better equipped to deal with all of it, thanks to Dr. Mee. If you are wondering if you should see someone to get on medication because you're ready to tear your hair out, or suspect that something is "off", go see Dr. Mee. Yes, he costs a lot. But it's because he will help you in the way you need to. There is no guess work here. Here is a medical professional who cares and will get you the help you need.

Dr. Mee is extremely knowledgeable, caring, honest, and challenging which makes him at the top of the Psychiatric and Psychotherapy field. I first started seeing Dr. Mee in 2009 when I was struggling with anxiety and depression due to the changes that Stage IV Cancer brings. While I was seeing him strictly for psychiatric purposes there was some psychotherapy involved as well. If I could have budgeted for psychotherapy with Dr. Mee I would definitely want to. I continued to see Dr. Mee for maintenance review through 2013. Then recently again. I was amazed at how after a break in time he was able to thoroughly recall my circumstances, but discuss and treat me my current needs. His costumer service is superior as well. There were many times I had problems with CVS and not getting my prescription and he would make sure that it happened. His office consists of he and another doctor but you would think that they had a full administrative staff. I am forever grateful for Dr. Mee's outstanding service.

She's well worth it! I've been seeing Dr Saghal for several years. I began seeing her when my husband (LEO) was murdered. I was suffering from PTSD, severe depression, and horrible fear and anxiety. I had visited a half dozen psychiatrists prior to Dr Saghal and was just about to give up. So glad I pressed on because it lead me to her. Life-changing experience with Dr Saghal!

He believes he needs to be on these meds, I assume due to these infrequent online appointments. He can transition to safer meds. I assume she never told him to call with questions or gave him instructions. He was unable to stay awake and function, so I suggested taking the meds at night instead. I should not need to be the doctor. I would be taking him to his appointments and assist. I demanded his dad go with him to help communicate/advocate, with serious medical problems, after he sent him alone. He needs a doctor experienced with autism, cognizant of the virulent antisemitism he cannot handle, especially from medical staff, I experienced. My husband is stressed caring for a disabled wife, now, without my son's help and serious health issues. He has a university degree, lived independently, went on Birthright to Israel, and Poland with his dad to see his brother. Stress has always exacerbated my husband's condition. He is being abusive when he has to care for me when caregivers are gone. My son was destroyed by alumni he thought were his friends, who targeted him with antisemitism following Oct. 7, Open Season on Jews Day. A twice yearly med visit virtually, with no psychologist, only an MFT is malpractice. UCSD is responsible for the damage they caused via a hostile campus environment. I had the same as a patient. His poor insurance is due to UCSD abusing him, then dumping him. I was told she is an Rx mill, but many are today. My older son invited him to Poland, where affordable medical care is available.

All other previous meds that was prescribed for my migraines made feel like I wanted to die and crawl out of my skin! I would much rather suffer with the migraine pain than to suffer the side effects from taking the others. I just completed the study after being on it for a year and let me say, this stuff was the best ever that I have taken for my migraines! It worked like magic and with no ill side effects. I have had two more migraines since my last dose of the study med and I was dying! I hope this passes and on the market soon. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. I was greeted every visit with smiles and respect. I would refer PRI to anyone looking for a little relief and able to help mankind by becoming a study subject. Upon my last visit, I was given a warm throw blanket as token of their appreciation by Melissa, my counselor. Was not expecting that. See? Friendly. Thank you PRI

She is a good listener, compassionate, and skilled in both allopathic and homeopathic medicine. When I urgently needed help (on more than one occasion), she found time to meet with me on short notice. Her training as a nurse practitioner (one step below an MD) allows her to prescribe medications if needed, but she is also skilled in many therapeutic techniques, including hypnotherapy (customized relaxation and meditation recordings), CBTi (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia), and other homeopathic remedies. She is essentially a psychiatrist therapist in one. I am grateful to have found Shirley. I highly recommend her services.

I saw Dr. Corman for a few appointments in 2021. He did initially diagnose me with ADHD, but how he…read morewent about prescribing medication for my ADHD did not sit right with me. He brags about how he helped develop TOVA, a computer program that he will sit you in front of with a clicker button (on a desktop that looks like it is only capable of running MS-DOS). Okay, maybe using it to diagnose someone could be super helpful, but the way he uses it to decide on the medication he will prescribe feels absolutely useless. He gives you a pill in a little envelope and has you come back the next day to test you on how well you play the computer game on the medication he gave you; if it isn't "up to par" to where he thinks you should be, he gives you another pill and has you come back to try it all over again, in no way taking into account how you, the client, may feel on the different medications he has given you. After all of his "testing" that I was subjected to, Dr. Corman settled on a medication that I particularly did not like, and as a mom, I did not feel it lasted long enough in my system to get through the day with enough focus and add on daily headaches. I brought all of this up with Dr. Corman, and instead of listening to me as an adult with opinions, he told me to take three XR (extended-release) pills a day at the lowest dose possible. This was after almost two weeks of being put through the wringer and taking five or six different types of medication given to me in tiny envelopes. Eventually, I decided that I wanted to find a psychiatrist who would work WITH me as a patient to find a drug that we both felt worked, with my input into the situation. I did, which has been super helpful. See anyone before you see Dr. Corman; he seems stuck in the 80s and 90s, probably when he developed that computer test.

This is a tricky review for me. This is the guy who helped develop the testing for ADHD…read more He knows his stuff, but he's also got some dated ideas at this point and only sees one way to do things. That combination gave me the impression he's not really interested in hearing what's been working for you or adapting medication to your other issues. I've used marijuana to treat my symptoms successfully for the past 15 years. I've had a decade and a half of good results with it. But, I know it interferes with the electronic testing he performs though so I went in there expecting him to tell me I needed to cut it and other medications off for testing. Heck chocolate even messes with his testing. I came in because I'm in my 30's now and my adhd symptoms aren't under control anymore. My wife is dying, I'm the sole provider for my family, and I have anxiety that I didn't have before. He didn't really address how that might affect my adhd. He blamed it on the marijuana and gave me a diagnosis of "pot dependence". Compared marijuana to heroin and started asking if I'd be willing to take that. So, I took it to heart. Walked out and stopped taking all my medications including marijuana. Ya know what, it wasn't as hard as he made it seem, and no I don't think I needed rehab for it (something he pushes for plain old weed). You know what was hard? Getting off the amphetamines they pushed on me as a kid. I saw shadow people and had crazy withdrawals from it. But you aren't amphetamine dependent because you need it for adhd, and I really don't think I fit the dsm-v for marijuana dependence. This dude just doesn't care to listen, because he's been doing the same routine for 20 years. You can get TOVA testing elsewhere for cheaper. You don't need him to be the one doing it.
