An incredible healer. Not a typical doctor. If you actually want to get better, try one more place and see Dr Okamoto.

Before him, I had experiences where I felt like I had to fight to be heard, rush through concerns, or only share the "important" symptoms because I worried the provider didn't have time for the rest. That kind of environment makes it hard to be vulnerable or honest. With Dr. Tran, it's the complete opposite. For the first time, I feel like I can say everything without needing to filter or edit myself. He listens to the full story, even when I'm rambling, anxious, or unsure how to articulate what l'm feeling. He doesn't interrupt. He doesn't rush me along. He doesn't jump to conclusions. He lets me speak in my own pace and my own way. Then, once I'm finished, he reflects back what he heard - not in a robotic way, but in a way that makes it clear he truly understood what I meant, not just what I said. That level of careful listening has helped me open up more than I ever have in mental health treatment. There have been sessions where I walked in overwhelmed, on the verge of tears, or feeling completely lost. He never looks uncomfortable or impatient. He stays calm, grounded, and steady, gently guiding me through the conversation until I can breathe again and see things clearly. That kind of support has been invaluable. And when I have questions -- whether about symptoms, medications, or even just the emotional experience of what I'm going through -- he answers them thoroughly and thoughtfully. Never rushed. Never dismissive. Never acting like I should already know the answer. I always leave appointments feeling more informed, more grounded, and more seen. Because I finally feel truly heard, my progress has accelerated dramatically. I'm able to share things I've held in for years, and that honesty has transformed the way I understand myself. I can't express how rare and meaningful that experience has been.

So many clinicians focus only on symptom checklists: sleep, appetite, energy, mood rating, anxiety level. But they overlook the deeper layers that drive those symptoms. Dr. Tran does the opposite. He understands that mental health is connected to everything: relationships, identity, stress, physical health, past experiences, lifestyle, trauma, even daily habits. And he weaves all of those layers into treatment in a way that feels seamless and supportive.   He asks about what's happening at work, at home, socially, emotionally, physically. Not out of curiosity, but because he understands how interconnected each part of life is. He notices patterns between sleep, stress, mood, and behavior. He helps me understand how certain environments impact me or how certain habits influence my energy. His holistic approach isn't just psychological. It's practical. He encourages healthy routines, grounding techniques, boundaries, coping strategies, scheduling adjustments, and lifestyle shifts that actually fit into my life. None of it feels overwhelming or unrealistic. He explains why each change matters and how it supports the bigger picture. Because he treats me as a whole person, I've noticed improvements far beyond my initial symptoms. My confidence is higher. My energy is better. My daily functioning has improved. I feel more balanced emotionally and more capable mentally. Working with him has shown me what psychiatric care should be: not just symptom management, but true whole-person healing.

I'm so thankful I found her and would 100% recommend sensible care. I also love that I can do it in the privacy of my own home which makes it a lot easier being a mom. If you're wondering if you should try them or not I say do it. You won't regret it. Just please don't keep her too busy. I still need her

This will be long so here is a quick summary: denied the right to medical privacy; pharmacies…read morerefuse to fill prescriptions from this clinic because of its reputation; attempted patient abandonment; and providers using fake names to avoid accountability. Read on for details. - They shared my private health information with others outside the clinic without my knowledge or consent, and stated to me that this is their standard practice. This was unacceptable, extremely distressing, and not what I agreed to when I initially signed up for their services. As of Oct 2023, SC has now updated its notice of privacy practices to officially declare that they can reveal your private health information (such as your diagnosis, medications, and other details) to people outside the clinic without your consent. Also that your information will be used for medical research purposes without your consent. It is further stated that patients do not have the right to insist on limits regarding the use or disclosure of their information and that the clinic "does not tolerate clients who make demands." - Various pharmacies refused to fill prescriptions from providers here because this clinic is considered "a red flag," to quote what several pharmacists told me. SC has a reputation as a "pill mill." I wasted a ton of time trying to find a pharmacy that would actually fill things from here; my time would have been better spent finding a reputable provider elsewhere. - I saw the provider known as "Yelaina," who uses this fake name (not her legal name, aka the one she is licensed under and prescribes from) to prevent people from looking up her licensing info and healthcare reviews. Just one more thing that makes this clinic questionable. Anyway, this provider attempted patient abandonment with me which is an incredibly stressful and triggering scenario to go through. SC's VP Katherine was made aware of the situation and chose to defend it, did not offer any solutions (not even offering to switch me to another doctor) and encouraged me to leave the clinic if I didn't like the fact that this provider tried to suddenly and unethically terminate my care. Sadly, I am far from the only one who has experienced attempted or actual patient abandonment at SC, which you will notice if you read through their reviews here and elsewhere. - In sum, SC's focus is solely on profit and they make that very clear through the way they treat patients. To this clinic, we are disposable - nothing but a dollar sign. This is a despicable way to treat human beings who have trusted you with something as important as their medical care.

Today I had an apt. with PA YEA. My appointment was very disappointing…read more Dr. Yea was speaking so fast, her words didn't have spaces between them. I couldn't understand her words. She seemed to have a lack of composure, and today I received poor bedside manner and a complete lack of professionalism. She rushed through everything cutting me off the whole time. She asked if it was possible for me to be pregnant to which I replied. Yes, it's possible, as I had unprotected sex a couple times a week or 2 ago and missed a few days of my BC, so there is a very very small chance, and she asked if I was using birth control after I said that, to which I kind of stared at her for a minute to try to understand what she was asking, and I said yes, I take the birth control I just told you about. she asked what's it called? I told her. she responded, oh oral, THEN SHE Said You weren't using condoms or any other kind of birth control and my response was nooo... and I felt that was a judgy weird question. (I've been with 1 person the last 18 years)and she said well don't you think you should take a preg test ?.. in a condescending tone, which I responded that I do test if I have sex, especially if there's ejaculate that goes into me, I definitely do. And then she continued asking several more times, Don't you think you should know if you're pregnant in a condescending tone and facial expression. "Don't you think you should find out if you're pregnant" to which I replied well it "takes a couple of weeks after you have sex for you to get an efficient test result and I have the date which I need to test in my phone." and her response was "oh that's true." It was very weird. I was surprised at how uneducated, rude, contentious, and condescending she was. She seemed to not remember how pregnancy works until I reminded her, and made me feel uncomfortable by seeming to shame me about not knowing if I was pregnant yet. Meanwhile I've been with the same man for 18 years. But this PA had poor composure let alone decent bedside manner and continued to express her bias. She acted Pompous, shaming the use of medications, xanax and ambien, that I worked really hard to come to the solution of w a medical team, over 4 months cycling through many medications. And I've been successfully using the medications as needed without any negatives for over 5 months. She pushed more anxiety and depression type prescriptions I wasn't interested in taking because my anxiety is circumstantial from a toxic relationship and some harassment, but she jumped right into shaming the use of Xanax and ambien saying they were "just bandaids." A unbiased conversation about medications would have been appreciated more than shaming me in a condescending tone. Briefly mentioning a stimulant can not be mixed w Xanax or ambien, which I was clear on. She tried incessantly to push a daily depression/anxiety medication on me and it became very uncomfortable as she seemed to become agitated. She knew very minimal medical history of mine and didn't want to hear about anything that went against her opinion to push me on meds. SHE WAS Not trauma informed, I explained my CPTSD diagnosis and being diagnosed with SEVERE MEDICAL TRAUMA and AFTER HER PUSHING MEDICATIONS FOR ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION WHEN I NEEDED HELP WITH AN ADHD DIAGNOSES, PLUS HER SHAMING ME ABOUT POSSIBLY BEING PREGNANT WITH OUT KNOWING, AND FURTHER SHAMING MY need/use OF XANAX AND AMBIEN, I NEEDED A MOMENT to walk out of the office to help me process the treatment I was receiving and she was visibly confused AND ANNOYED and even interjected with telling me I would be taking the time away from our session and we only have 20 minutes, to which I replied that's fine. Clearly not trauma informed and that's weird because she works under a psychiatrist. I went in there for help finding out if I HAVE ADHD, and I just needed guidence, maybe talk about medications. I left feeling like a number. I told her we do not have a relationship with any prescriptions because she made me feel very uncomfortable. I told her I have been on a healing journey, and I've found my voice, I respect and appreciate her opinion and thanked her for her time, but I don't agree with it ( needing an ssri etc). And I told her I am uncomfortable and the door is now closed with any and all medications through her. Needless to say, I will never see that PA again. I absolutely did not receive "individualized care and compassion", as the medical director claims about this place. I strongly recommend PA YEA gets some training in trauma and someone to oversee her medication use as the treatment I received today exhibits someone unstable. At the very least she showed a lack of life experience, lack of medical experience and medication bias.

I recently was advised by my Primary Care physician to go back to Therapy and back to a psychiatrist to get back on medication to help my problems related to my ongoing condition from childhood. I relayed this to Moses Morar, and to my surprise He had no recollection of me being his patient. The blatant disrespect the physician even had to question if I was telling the truth is despicable. I'm a grown man, not some teen punk trying to get drugs.. I thought I had rapport with this guy, and at least a paper trail of receipts on his end. But Nada. Just me and my solid book of receipts and past prescriptions, he prescribed me and paper trail. Very upsetting and embarrassing. I paid btw. I do not recommend this facility you will not get the medication you need.

I am incredibly disappointed with my care here at alliance psychiatric group…read more I have changed doctors over the past few years. My last doctor was impossible to get ahold of if i had any issues outside of an appointment. Which tends to happen when you are new and trying new medications. The office doesn't answer the phone. They only talk over text. Over the past year I have been very consistent with rebooking my appointments at the end of my appointments to avoid the front office. I must have forgotten to rebook an appointment because I was nearing the end of my bottle of anti-depressants and noticed that I didn't have an appointment on the books. I tried contacting the front office and I asked them if i could get a short order to hold me over and they refused and told me that the only opening would be after my prescription ran out. They offered no solution to my issue. They ended up squeezing me in but not until a lot of back and forth. Last week they send me this text: hello Stephanie, your insurance is currently returning as inactive! I just got married and ended up having to change insurance. When i told them it was Tricare and asked if they took it they replied, "We do not accept Tricare!" I am fine with finding another doctor because I cannot stand the incompetency of the front desk. Why are you texting me? Why is there an explanation point at the end? Why do you have absolutely no customer service etiquette at all! You are dealing with people with anxiety issues. 3 years ago, when i first came here these interactions would rile me up into tears. Thankfully I've grown but after telling them I'll have to find another doctor the response was, "I'll cancel the appointment!" My last appointment was pretty serious. Does Dr. Niko even know that I am no longer a patient due to insurance issues? Isn't there a process one needs to go through to leave a doctor's care as I find a replacement? I'm pretty upset I'm not even getting a last check in to make sure that I am okay due to the nature of our last appointment.
