I can't speak to other people's experiences, but our process with Michael was no-nonsense, to-the-point, with no sneaky add-ons, etc. 4 text messages, a quick test drive, & we were sold. The entire exchange, including our dealings with the finance dept. were quick, painless, & pleasant. I'll gladly return or recommend.

Luckily I was still under my manufacturers warranty or so I thought. After the Service Advisor Chris looked at the truck he confirmed it was one of several possible issues and that it would need to be further investigated. With the earliest time for an appointment being 10/14/2024. The dealership was unable to repair or order my part until 3/17/2024. It took the Dealer 5 months and 4 days to order a part for my repair. This repair is a COMMON issue on these trucks. The service advisors did not provide any update to my work and ignored messages left on voicemail. The only was to talk to them was to show up to the dealership once every few weeks for an update. After repairing my truck due to my service advisor CHRIS Poor paperwork skills. The dealership did not honor the manufactures warranty because it had expired on 10/13 and my truck was not Diagnosed until 10/14. Even though I was told for 5 Months and 4 days that this work would be cover under the original warranty. I strongly advise anyone with warranty work to go to another dealership. The advisor and management simply do not care about providing a good customer experience. No attempt was made to honor the manufacturer warranty even though it was the dealerships fault for not recording the correct documentation.

I should have listened to my gut feelings and went to an independent transmission shop. I received an estimate from the sales service associate for the transmission replacement with a very high markup. The final price was significantly higher than the estimate, since it is already overly inflated. Honda of Slidell added freight charge (this isn't included in the price) and other hidden fees which she, Misty, sales service associate, could not explain. It was the typical "Bait and Switch" tactics there dealers utilize. On tip of that, my car is mousing the windshield fuel panel and multiple clips when the transmission was replaced. Lesson learned! I would only recommend taking a Honda to a dealer if it is still under warranty. American Honda considers my car old, so they and Honda of Slidell was not going to assist me for their faulty products. I have five Honda's, with four purchased new. Thanks Honda - so much for customer loyalty and product support. I am beyond disappointed in Honda of Slidell. I will absolutely inform my patients, family, coworkers, friends. Etc about the poor service at Honda of Slidell.

Warning Internal Fraudulent Practices…read more Just for the record-this is my personal experience and I would hate to see this happen to someone else. I am extremely disappointed and alarmed by what happened at GMC legacy in Slidell, La. A former employee of theirs(my ex husband of approximately 7/8 years) was able to purchase a vehicle in my name -including signing all paperwork without my knowledge or consent. I did not authorize this purchase, nor was I present. I have evidence. Despite no longer working there, this individual exploited the dealership's lax identity-verification process to secure a loan under my Social Security number: As a result, I'm facing: - [ ] A fraudulent auto loan on my credit report. - [ ] Emotional distress and hours lost disputing this crime. I have since filed reports with my local police department , DMV, and I met with the owner Mr Adam Bowen(to give his business the opportunity to make it right, however it was unsuccessful) but GMC Legacy must also be held accountable for allowing an ex -staff member to retain document-signing privileges. Do NOT do business here if you value your personal information. Until they overhaul their security and retrain their staff on proper ID checks, any transaction here puts you at risk of Identity theft.

I tried changing the battery, still nothing. I called and they said to come out and they would deal with it. I drove the 30 miles and they decided I needed to come back to see the manager. Came back another day and the manager said I needed to pay $150 to get the key fob reprogrammed. I threw a fit and got him to agree to reprogram it for free. They then realized that the "right" people were not there to do that and I would have to come back again. I called to make an appointment to get this done and was then told I needed a whole new key fob, which they would not pay for and that was $900, when I have had the car for less than a month!!! Second issue with my purchase, with all the add on CRAP they try to sell you, the salesperson told me their Premier Defense would cover any scratches, chips and dings - just bring it in and they will fix it free of charge. Well, that sounded worthwhile to purchase, so I negotiated the price of the add on crap based on that. Got my first ding and took it in to get repaired and was then told that the sales agent made a mistake and that the premiere defense only covers bugs and sap. I am not the industry expert, they are SUPPOSED to be, but they are not standing behind what I was told and sold. They lie and cheat and steal. VERY DISREPUTABLE sales force and management. Think twice before buying here - THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORD

We came to terms on a deal for a 2018 Nissan Nissan Armada Platinum. The numbers were off when I checked them and agreed to change them. When we test drove the SUV it had to be jumped off. They assured me that they would put a new battery in for me. When I picked up the suv on 2/18/26 the battery had not been replaced yet which delayed me picking up Armada they had 2 weeks to get it done. They delivered the SUV without putting on the front license plate holder. It was in the back of SUV leaving me to figure out what it was. After having the SUV for about 5 days, Finance Department called and said they didn't have a purchase order on the Armada so I went back Monday 2/23/26 and by then engine light came on and they flashed it it was a simple fix evidently the gas cap wasn't on all the way, the salesman that filled it up may now have tightened all the way. When I got home Monday 2/23/26 Tyler called and asked for my temporary tag number or a copy which I never received. I remember asking Adam about a temp tag I told him on the day I picked suv up i have a Matt Bowers tag on the back do I need a temporary tag he said no. I offered to come get the tag and have them put the front license holder on for free and be compensated for some gas. They agreed to put gas in it, I was told by Adam that they would not install the license plate holder for free they wanted $170.00 labor which I refused. The Armada should have been delivered with that license plate holder already on it. 2 positive things came out of this Heidi delivering the temp tag and they flashing the engine light. The rest well not happy. The mistakes made in fiancé and $170.00 labor to put on a license plate holder that should have been installed before I picked the Armada up. I would be very reluctant to do any future business with them and probably would not recommend them. Thank you George Clements
