Her staff is always friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a positive experience. I've been very happy with the work she has done on my teeth and highly recommend her.

Even if that means having a tooth fall out that cannot be replaced. This is due to having horrendous with dentists in the past. We've both have had dentists treat us like we're criminals for not taking "better care" of our teeth. When in fact we have done the best we could. My son and I both have been treated horribly by the doctors we've seen. We won't go unless we're in so much pain that we have to. That being said my family & I recently moved from out of state to Stillwater and knew we both needed to see someone to care for our teeth right away due to some issues. My son was not "a willing participant" when it came to going in. I was not looking forward to going into see someone to have my teeth checked. As I have several teeth missing but knew they needed to be looked at along with getting a consult so I could resolve years of bad dental care from previous dentists. (1 dentist I had worked on my teeth, and did work to it that was completely unnecessary. Which cost me a lot of $) But I decided to go in with my son as a way to have us support each other in this visit. Needless to say I was super impressed at how the dentist and the staff made us feel. No lectures, no rattling off of how horrible people we are for not caring for our teeth, none of that. We were treated like human beings. And not cash cows or trash. Both of us were told that a lot of times the state of our teeth has to do with several things. Yes some of it is how we care for them, but sometimes it's genetics, or the water that we were exposed to when growing up. (Cause some areas don't have fluoride in the water, etc) I have extreme anxiety. And I let the staff know this. They made sure that I was comfortable with how things were going. And made sure that I understood what was happening. They asked me what my end goal was when it came to my teeth. They ensured that they wanted me to feel comfortable with everything and everyone. (I have never, ever in my life been treated this way. Even by my great uncle - he was our family's dentist when I was a kid. Back then you just sit there and didn't say a word, ever.) My 11 yr old was so scared and upset that I told him I would go first. So he could see what would happen. Cause like me he didn't have any favorable opinions or experiences with any dentists he's been to. No one seemed to care what or how he was about how he felt - and he's 11! And my son is very articulate about how feels about everything. So if he doesn't like something, or if he does like something - he will tell you to your face. And yes he told the dentist and the hygienist that he was an UNWILLING PARTICIPANT to the cleaning he was going to be getting. (I've always told my sons that if they don't speak up about something- good or bad - no one will know. So they need to give their opinions respectfully. My portion of my appointment went well. They took some x rays. Explained to me what they saw, showed me on the computer screen what they could fix and what my options were for the teeth that I was missing. I was also told that I needed to come in for a cleaning as step one. And explained to that this will be a multiple step process so they could get my teeth healthy again and that they could get me there, but it wasn't impossible. And that in reality my teeth were ok overall despite what previous dentists have told me. Which made me feel better. Now it was his turn. I sat next to him as moral support. Since I knew he was nervous. But the hygienist was fantastic with him. She explained everything to him, showed him all the tools, explained how they would be used, how she would make sure she would ensure that he would feel the least discomfort as possible. Again amazing! I'm sure you like anyone else would feel more comfortable and confident about things if you knew ahead of time what was happening. Rather than sitting there guessing as to what to expect next. She took great consideration into how he felt and how bad of an experience he had with previous dentists, and made sure he felt extremely comfortable with what was going on. And for me as a mom made a huge difference!! I want my child to feel ok and safe about what's going on. So when he feels ok and safe - so do I. He understood what to expect, and was ok, so I was as well. He didn't appear to be worried. (Even though he tries to hide it. LOL) He sat through the x rays (or bite wings - which he HATES, with no problem.) They cleaned his teeth from all the plaque and gunk, with no issues. He also sat through the brushing of his teeth & fluoride. This dentist & staff is amazing! Highly recommend! The rest of my family will be seeing them. And yours should too! (BTW they give ice cream & cookies!!)
