Life is better! Next, convinced my husband to seek him out due to chronic, unresolved ear infection/allergy issues for which he was treated for 2 YEARS by another ENT in area! They…read moreoverbook, don't answer the phone, and the provider I saw (a Physician's Assistant) took all of 5 minutes to order a number of experience tests and then run to another patient because "we're really behind schedule." No explanation, no discussion. The people who eventually answer the phone are unprofessional and that's when they call back! I'm here to drop off my results on a CD because it's an imaging result and they're closed. It's still regular work hours and they're not here. I had to take time off work to come here and they're closed at a time their own phone message says they are open. I'm supposed to see the doctor next week. Depending on how that appointment goes, I may just need to locate another Practice. I'd like to focus on getting better, not managing the unprofessional behavior of a medical office.

Dr. Duggle entered the exam room and did not speak to me as if I was invisible. He only listened to his assistant, who spoke to me about what I was there for. He proceeded to look in my ears without addressing me or asking me any questions. Then he told her, not me, he was going to clean the wax out of my ears. Again, he ignored me as a person. I said I fear having my ears cleaned because I'd heard it could cause tinnitus. He said, " I'm the doctor!" He proceeded to talk to me abruptly with arrogance. The more I tried to speak, the more he became biligerant. I apologized for wasting his time, I got up to leave, and I began to cry. He told me to stay for a hearing test. I said I didn't have the money. I am on a fixed income . He said what's more important! This man was a young rude arrogant incompassionate individual. I would never advise anyone to go to this office.

On each visit, I check in with someone at the front to make sure we are up to date on things - as soon as you enter the office, just one tiny step in and you are in front of that person. They do have a waiting area as most offices do, but I am hardly in there as I try to be always on time for my visits. Someone else will take your pressure and take you to one of their rooms. If you are on time for your appointments, you never have to wait long before you see Dr. Tatar. He is always pleasant, very helpful and knowledgeable. I always leave with a smile. His employees are great as well. I always drive the distance every time I visit, but it is worth it. I never feel rushed or feel like I am waiting forever. All the more reasons why I keep coming back each time.

That's understandable, it's a busy office. She was very unfriendly and unhappy from the get go. Asked for my ID and my daughter's insurance card, which I provided. She then told me that per my insurance, we need a referral, which I thought they had. I contacted my daughter's pediatrician and asked for a referral to be faxed over and they did this very quickly. My daughter was getting restless in her stroller. 10 minutes go by while we're standing at the front desk waiting. Then the same front desk receptionist informed me that I will need to reschedule the appointment because the referral arrived at 11:00 am instead of the 10:55 am time that it needed to arrive by. She was cold and rude. No "oh, I am so sorry"," zero empathy whatsoever. Zero politeness. She did not even bother to ask the audiologist if she would still be able to see us for our appointment today. She took it upon herself to decide that we will not be seen today. She also has taken it upon herself to cancel our afternoon ENT appointment as well without informing me of that. I found that out after I called back asking to speak with the manager and was told that she is unavailable and will be calling me back; however, I was not given a day or time frame when they would happen. I feel like we were discriminated against because my daughter is special needs. She is 2.5 years old and is on the autism spectrum. So this woman has taken it upon herself to refuse an autistic patient on Autism Awareness Day! My daughter's pediatrician called me back later expressing his disappointment and disbelief at the whole situation. This is supposed to be a Johns Hopkins facility that allows their front desk staff to treat patients with such disregard and robotic, void of empathy manner. I myself am a healthcare provider and in my establishment, we would have seen the patient. Also, our front desk receptionists would have gone back to me and asked if I would still see the patient and of course I would. Additionally, this occurred due to no fault of my own. I arrived with my child on time for her appointment. I'm still in disbelief with the way this woman allowed herself to treat me and feel like she was discriminating towards me and my special needs daughter. I took the day off work to accommodate her audiologist and ENT appointments and had to wait over a month for them to have any availability. This is an unacceptable way to treat people, especially in healthcare. I understand being a busy office with lots of patients and that there's a schedule to adhere to. But to turn away a special needs young child due to no fault of the patient or parent because of a 5 minute delay in her referral (that they should've already had) is absolutely unacceptable and outrageous. I was polite and respectful the entire time. I would definitely not recommend this office to anyone, especially if you have special needs and/or neurodivergent children.

He was able to clear up a big problem I had in my ears that had been going on for a very long time. I had been to ENTs all over the city with no results, and Dr. Wilkenson cleared up the issue for me in a very short time with holistic recommendations.
