This is a small school but is big enough to have several children in each age group, so they get plenty of work that is aimed at the right level. the teachers are very approachable, and the children all seem very happy there. Trowse primary school is part of a cluster of small local schools and between them they arrange several sports competitions. Results have always been good and the OFSTED reports good too. The head teacher is very keen on drama and the children have put on some really good school plays and productions over the years. My only reason for not giving this school 5 stars is that it does not have its own school field. This is not a huge problem though because it has arranged with the ski club in the village to use the field there. Other facilities for sport are available at the local YMCA.

as a child i attended trowse primary school and even though i was only there from year 4 to year 6…read morei loved it there. the teachers are really friendly and you do so much fun work. since i have left the school, refurbishments have been taking place and now it is absolutely lovely. we did so much creative homework that i loved doing and i met so many new friends.
