The teachers were more concerned about getting students registered on courses with low numbers than actually finding the right path. Young, naive and impressionable I was pressured into taking subjects that I had not actually gone in to sign up for. I wanted art, math and business, they convinced me that I was better suited to business, history and politics! (looking back I wonder why I didn't scream but I thought they had my best interests). 3 months later I tried to revert to my original choices and was told I was going to have to put my life on hold for a year and then I'd be behind my peers and face career pressures at graduation. In hindsight it was bullying behaviour, I wish I had the knowledge then I have now. I would never send my children here an appaling place. But if you do, make sure you fully support your children they'll need it with the beaucratic bullying in place at Norwich City College.
