Absolutely shocking customer service and policy on cancellation due to illness…read more I was hospitalised due to serious health and only discharged a few days before my course was due to start. I called customer service who told me I would not be able to receive a refund or reschedule my course unless I provided a doctors note. I did so immediately but was then told I had to provide a doctors not that specifically said I was unfit to drive. All these processes I had to go through were not in the terms and conditions. I also provided this immediately. I spoke to various members of the unsympathetic and blunt customer service team who told me contradicting things. I finally got my case sent to management who replied with the same copy and pasted response I had received before. When I asked about making a complaint I was directed back to the blunt unsympathetic customer service team that my poor experience began with. Do not use this company, they are appalling.

Whether you are taking your first test or your twenty first test, 5 day will try and match you up with the best instructor to suit your needs, with a choice of manual or automatic cars. Their requirement is that you have had some basic experience in a car prior to attending the course, to have a feel for clutch control etc, although no great experience is necessary. Tuition for the theory test is also provided for those who have not yet taken this, with classroom lessons and computers available to practice sample questions on as many times as is needed. People come from all over the country to use this driving school, indeed from all over the world. Accommodation can be found cheaply nearby for those who are not local. The courses are not cheap, but when you consider the amount of tuition you are getting in a very short space of time, they are worth it for those that need a quick test.
