Before the holidays in 2018 and the beginning of 2019 i would have given this review with 4 stars ....They were great, I hate the dentist but these people made me feel so comfortable, they joked around with me, and talked about kids the whole time, the only issue I had was waiting for an hour and 30 mins but it was also a day before a holiday, the office staff was very pleasant as you walk in they know your name
But now i'd actually give them a two!
The staff is Awesome! the doctors are sweet and they inform you on whats going on and talk to you but they do not listen to your complaints, they do not examine your X-ray well enough. I cant express just how upset i am to have spent so much money on a tooth that they ended up having to refer me to someone else for a second opinion because there was nothing else they could do, it took months for me to even get a tiny refund
Back story
back in November 2018 i got a bad took ache but i wasn't sure which tooth it could be but i knew it was 1 of out 3 beings that i could feel cavities forming on the back of my teeth. so i went in and express to them it could be any of these 3 teeth. they took an xray and never paid attention to the back of me teeth, so Dr. Powers did a root canel on one and even after the root canel i was in even more pain so when i went back for the crown and they tried to yank the temporary crown off which just hurt worse, Dr. Powers suggested that it may have been a tooth with two roots and said i needed to go to a different dentist for a second opinion and then come back to see him. which i did and this doctor could not tell that it was a second root but he could tell it was a abscessed tooth and the infection had spread to my nasals. He express how dangerous this could be and that we would put me under right then and there to fix the issue for $1200 upfront, I couldn't afford that after sending $2500 on this tooth. so i went back to Dr. powers and before i could even see him. I was told there was nothing else they could do for me, that i needed to find another dentist. at this point i flipped, i cursed out their accountant/ manager which i did apologize for, once they agreed to meet me to figure out a refund and some pain pills to get me by and a referral to get it pulled. Once they saw me they saw just how swollen my face was, just how much attention i needed and helped and agreed to give me a refund for at least the crown this all ended in March 2019, I am writing this review in May 2019 in which i just had to call and complain about because I never received the $235.00 out of the $2500 that was promised to be mailed to me back in March.
When i told the tooth pulled though i had an xray done in which that dentist office did say something about my back teeth that were cavities became big holes during this whole processed.
Why did they not pay any attention to my back teeth? Why did i have to argue with these people for them to see me again for a referral and pain meds? Why take on a job if you didn't have the right equipment to access the situation first? If this one office could see how bad my back teeth were why didn't my primary Dentist, Doctor Powers see this?
I'm a firm believer of "Do what you gonna do, because i know you do this for a living" kind of person but there is no reason to paying $2500 toward a dentist and still suffering from November-March. FYI I've tried other dentist since then for teeth cleanings and suck and 2 out of 3 of these Doctors said to never go back and referred me to other dentist's read more
