Dr Payne is the best! People at the desk were very kind and my visit was speedy. Will be returningread more

Dr. Brad Williams & his staff are PHENOMENAL…read more I originially chose this dentist because it was a preferred provider under my dental insurance First great thing about this practice is the "down home" feeling you get as soon as you walk in the office. They have televisions and coffee in the waiting room and I almost forgot I was at the dentist! The receptionist was so polite and attentive. I didn't have time to brush my teeth before leaving work so she directed to the rest room where they have disposable tooth brushes, tooth paste, floss, and mouthwash all for your use. The dental hygenist who performed my first cleaning was hilarious and very thorough and gave me some pointers on flossing, choosing a good tooth brush and what not. She constantly asked me if I was ok and made sure I felt no discomfort. After the cleaning I had the opportunity to meet Dr. Williams and he was funny and nice also. The office staff are like a big family and while you are there you almost feel like an extended family member. Anyways...he told me of the multiple cavities I had lol and they came up with a treatment plan. The treatment plan was soooo organized and....great lol. It tells you how much you expect to pay out of pocket and what will be performed and it was just...great (once again) I mad appointment for the end of the month to start on my treatment plan, however about two weeks before my appointment I had some pain and called and requested a sooner appointment, they made me an appointment for the next day! Now to the great part, my root canal During my root canal they gave me a warm blanket and I was able to watch television and I felt NO PAIN. Even the injection part, the part I hate the most was nearly painless! I was so comfortable I almost fell asleep. Dr. Williams and his staff were great and he even gave me a prescription just in case I had some pain afterwards. And to top it off Dr. Williams personally called me to make sure I was ok a couple hours after my appointment. I have been to at least a 6 different dentists, and not one has ever called me afterwards to see how I was doing. Dr. Williams and his staff are amazing and I HIGHLY recommend them!

Review for 1 of my children. My child went in for their regular cleaning. My child came out looking…read moreabsolutely miserable. I knew something was wrong but they just kept saying I'm ok. I was told everything was fine just brush/floss better. When we leave and get in the car I get told that the cleaning was incredibly painful. And that my child even dropped some tears. Came home and gave them some motrin cause their mouth was hurting. Motrin wore off so I just gave some Tylenol so hopefully they can get some sleep. They are miserable! I've never heard of that from a cleaning with no other issues. My child told me that the hygienist was really rough and would slip and say my bad or sorry or something similar. I feel absolutely horrible for letting my child go back by themselves. They are older so I'm trying to let them do some things on their own before they are adults. But now my child is miserable and in pain and I get to feel like a horrible parent! And now they have unlocked a new fear of the dentist. :( I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because this is the first visit to go this way. But I was also in the room for the other cleanings. I'm so sad :(

She was incredibly friendly, kind, gentle, and quick when she was working. She explained every step she took and provided a warm handoff to Dr. Cassandra Mitchell when she was done. They both are experts at what they do and are the kind of employees I will gladly continue to go back to and support. I even left with some great recommendations for day trips to take my family to this summer. Thanks for your care!

Took my 6 year old for a cleaning and check up and the hygienist Sandy was amazing with him…read more We didn't need anything else done Will be back in 6 months

Think Little Shop of Horrors!…read more I had work done here over the past 18 months and like a number of the reviews, I thought this place was ok as dentistry goes. Full disclosure: "I don't enjoy going to the dentist". And now for my Cane Bay Family Dentistry story... I arrived at 7 AM the day of the procedure and was led to a dental exam room where an x-ray was to be taken. After about ten minutes of trying to get the computer to boot up, I was led to another room where the x-ray was eventually taken. The doctor told me that I was missing a crown adjacent to the tooth to be filled. I asked for a price to do both repairs. I was quoted approximately $1,700. During the conversation that followed, I told the doctor that I really did not want to experience any pain, if possible. He assured me that he would be gentle and then administered several injections of a numbing material into my mouth. (These injections were quite painful) He told me that he would return in a few minutes once the medication took hold to begin the work. It was now around 7:15 AM. Next came the dental assistant who said that she needed to make an impression of the tooth that would be getting the new crown. She filled a dental tray with a rubbery material and told me to bite down on it after it was inserted over the tooth in question. For some reason, the tray contained the molding materials for both the upper and lower jaws. Why the lower jaw was being imprinted seemed odd but I digress. The dental assistant disappeared for at least 5 minutes... actually, a bit longer. When she reappeared, she began tugging at the mold attempting to remove it from my mouth. She pulled and wiggled and tugged but she couldn't loosen the device. At some point she chastised me for biting down too hard suggesting that it was my fault for the problem. This was strange. Another person appeared, I supposed it was a mold removal specialist, and she tugged and pried and pulled with all her considerable and determined strength but to no avail. Another person arrived, a woman dentist, who began another tug of war in my mouth in earnest, pinching my lip, pulling my beard and prying at this deeply entrenched gummy thing with all of her might. So many people were coming and going with their hands in and out of my mouth attempting to remove "Excalibur from the Stone" that I think even the receptionist took a turn. Nothing, nada... it was hopelessly stuck and I was miserable. Eventually, the troops reassembled got the male dentist to use a scalpel and maybe a tire iron to pry the thing from my jaws. Most of my teeth on that side of my mouth celebrated but seemed disoriented and somewhat looser in their foundations. It was now well past 7:45 AM. At around 8:30 AM, a good hour and thirty minutes after I arrived to have a tooth filled, the receptionist stood next to the dental chair and said the following, "I understand you are not happy with the procedure thus far." I said no, I was not happy with the incident that just took place but wanted to get the tooth filled and leave as soon as possible. That was when I was told that I would have to leave. She said the staff was uncomfortable and not willing to work with me as I was unhappy. After one hour and thirty minutes of pain inflicted incompetence, I was about to be thrown out of a dentist's office, the most loathsome place on Planet Earth for being unhappy. I removed the paper bib, placed it carefully on the chair and made my way quickly to the exit. I recalled seeing two older patients sitting in the waiting room on my way out and wanting to scream... "run away,, run away!" So for those of you who had a wonderful Disney-like experience at Cane Bay Family Dentistry, consider yourselves very lucky. For those foolish enough to venture into this Little Shop of Horrors beware... speak only happiness and sunshine compliments. They will likely treat you like a valued customer. Complain about anything, especially pain... and it's into Audrey II's mouth you go!
