They had received xrays from the ER but did not redo any xrays at this visit. Dr. Koenig is very young and was not very specific on the treatment for a broken Humerus. I felt very uncomfortable so I scheduled a follow up appointment to specifically see Dr. John Xenos for proper diagnosis and treatment plan - this appointment was on April 13, 2023. When I got there they did do their own xrays in which the Xray Technician told me I had shatter my entire shoulder (I did not shatter my shoulder - it's called arthritis! Xray Technicians are never allow to tell you findings. When I was put into a room it was young Dr. Koenig again and he told me that Dr. Xenos will not be seeing me as he was out of town. I would of never reschedule an appointment a week later to see a Doctor that was an intern that I was not comfortable with. I have paid all my bills with CO Orthopaedic except for the last one that was on April 13, 2023 and I mentioned I was not going to pay for this incompetent visit. I have now been sent to COLLECTIONS for $99.95. I will be filing a complaint with the Department of Regulatory Agency of Colorado (DORA) against both Dr. Koenig and Dr. Xnex and office. He had the most immediate opening which aligned with my timeline. Unfortunately he did have to inform me that I may need to look at hardware removal in the future, but I love a doctor who is transparent. His medical assistant Caley was also amazing. She checked my incisions and removed my stitches. While it was uncomfortable, it was still a great experience. They both have great bedside manners. Dr. Resig's timeline is different than the surgeon who did my surgery, as he will have me bear weight on my ankle sooner, but as daunting as it sounds, if I can get back on my feet sooner, I'll take it. My original timeline was non-weight bearing for the first 6 weeks, and this moves it up two weeks! I originally was going to go with a different doctor and office but their scheduler told me that they would want to see my X-rays, unfortunately I wouldn't be able to get it in time for that appointment so I looked elsewhere and I'm glad I did because I was stressing out about it. TL;DR I highly recommend OCC and Dr. Resig for your foot and ankle woes. The whole team there is awesome and so friendly.

I wanted to like this office, but never have I had as much trouble as here…read more Insurance could be another story, but hey, I forgot to check the reviews beforehand, so I'll own up to that. I originally went in to check out my neck; a coworker noticed something so I figured it may be a thyroid issue. Now what is the reason for the one star you may ask? Dr Raghuveer was great; the assistant nurse...eh it could've been a bad day but she was alright. To put it bluntly, the one star is for the absolutely incompetent front desk staff. Appointment and being seen was alright I suppose, but the front desk leaves a lot to be desired. After my first appointment, Dr Raghuveer sent me to the Anschutz Medical Campus to get an ultrasound on 6/26 We essentially left the discussion at "get the ultrasound and we'll see what they say" The next day they called me trying to get me in for an appointment. I was confused, as I understood to wait for the next steps. They said it was "to go over my test results" They were trying to get me in sometime in the morning (8-9am) which I couldn't do as I had work. After some back and forth calling, it was going to be on the 6/28, but then it got canceled (by the office) and we switched it to a Virtual Visit for 7/1. That weekend 6/29-6/30 the office called me back and canceled the virtual visit, stating that the appointment needed to be in person. This was after I had explicitly asked them if I had to come in or it could be virtual (I could do it on my break). The office said Dr Raghuveer wouldn't be able to see me until near the end of the month, after just trying to get me in within the week. This prompted me to ask, "Do I have to be seen by ONLY Dr Raghuveer or could anybody see me." The office said that any provider could see me so we scheduled an appointment with Dr Giang for 7/2 at 1:30pm On 7/2 at about 11:30 AM I received another phone call from the office, claiming that only Dr Raghuveer could see me and they were canceling the appointment with Dr Giang. The following day I found a letter on my portal saying that I had missed my appointment To top it off, apparently this office has a 3 strikes policy. (3 late shows/late cancellations) and "due to me not showing up to MENTIONED APPOINTMENT I received strike 1. Oh you mean THE APPOINTMENT THAT YOUR FRONT DESK CANCELLED? If you get 3 strikes they'll dismiss you from the practice. No worries, after the absolute headache that was this visit I'll dismiss myself from your practice.

I saw Dr. McPherson in May of 2020. He looked at the MRI and he recommended a minimally invasive procedure to remove the cyst. The doctor I saw for a second opinion recommended fusing the discs at L4/L5 (6-to-12-month recovery time) and removing the cyst. I went back to Dr. McPherson for an opinion. He said although I did show signs of age-related disk degeneration, it wasn't the cause of my current problem and may not even be an issue for 10 or 20 years. He still recommended the conservative approach to remove the cyst. I chose to go with his recommendation...I am SO glad I did. 45 minutes of surgery (June 3, 2020) and a 1 week easy recovery took care of the problem. That was two years ago...no pain, no issues! Dr. McPherson is an experienced, established physician, yet talks to me like I'm an intelligent adult. His staff worked overtime (sometimes at midnight) getting me through the pre-op requirements during COVID. I HIGHLY recommend him! Thank you, Dr. McPherson, and staff, for giving me my life back!

I've heard outstanding things about Dr McPherson from a co-worker who is familiar with his work but…read moresadly I didn't have that same experience. I met with him last week for an initial visit for cervical disc replacement surgery. I'm not sure if he was just having an off day or something along those lines but he seemed very distant and almost disinterested in being there. Discussing the surgery and all things involved he was very basic and seemed not very forthcoming. It felt like I had to beg for answers to some very basic questions (aftercare, recovery time, limitations). The feeling I got was that he would have rather been somewhere else and smugness. He also appeared to not be a fan of workers comp patients, perhaps that was the reason I got the attention I did. I will say the front office staff was very kind and organized. Again, giving him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he was just having an off day. Perhaps not. Either way when you walk in the door all that needs to stay outside. My fear would be Dr McPherson having an off day while slicing into my neck. Final thought is to always get second opinions, or thirds or more.
