She released me from her care only days before I was having multiple biopsies. She refused to expedite my testing even though I was in pain and has a cold bed side manner. I am now facing several surgeries and have filed a complaint with the Massachusetts Medical Licensing Board against her.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vernick since 2014, and while the front office staff around that time…read morewas a bit difficult to deal with (one woman in particular, thankfully she is long gone) it has all turned around. I had not been in for a few years (living out-of-state during Covid made it impossible), but had an emergency with my ear earlier this week created by a mistake at my new PCP's office (note to self: continue search for new PCP). I called Dr. Vernick's office the next day and spoke with Anna - we had a nice chat, she told me she joined the office a couple of months ago and helped me get in ASAP. She recommended I see Mary, the office's RN, and was able to make an appt for me first-thing the following morning. Mary was amazing, looked at both ears to see what happened and then explained in nice, easy-to-understand terms what happened and what to do. My pharmacy let me know 6 hours later (!!!) that one of the two prescriptions she ordered for me was unavailable, so I called the office to go with option #2. I left a message for Mary, she called me back a few minutes later and sent in the next request. I have a follow-up with Mary in two weeks, and am starting to feel a little better after just starting 2 antibiotics. A BIG thank you to Anna and Mary!!

I was trying to get vaccinations and medication for my trip to south America and his suggestions for the following medications were: Typhoid: You really aren't going to need it but I guess we can do it. Altitude medication: Just make sure you stay hydrated (I was going to 12,500 feet) Yellow fever: bullied me into getting a flu shot instead. Malaria: Said I was at no risk. (I was going into the amazon for 2.5 days) Luckily I was able to get into another dr for malaria in time otherwise I'd be pissed. The reason for the two stars is because the nurses were wonderful women who made it one of the more pleasant times I've gotten shots before.

Once I called them they said they hadn't revived anything and I need to be registered first and then ask my pcp to send the referral and provide them with confirmation date and time when referral was sent. Once I did this after another 5 Buisness days I called them and they still did not receive anything and now it takes 2 Buisness weeks! This is totally unprofessional! Every time they make stories. They should start working properly first in order to have patients ! If you need endocrinologist, don't waste off your time!

Over charged both my insurance and me, dishonest business practice…read more When you bring your concerns to Mary, their specialist for customer service issues, you never hear back and when you do it is just her complaining about how busy she is. When you go higher you get told things that are blatantly untrue (easilly proven) and that your case will no longer be reviewed. My entire family went here for years and had 2 good doctors. One has retired, one books 2 years out, the rest of the organization doesnt seem to remember who their clients are or why they are doing what they do. Sadly, I would not recomend at all.
