The recruiter was really friendly and helpful but really dumb once I left the job. He was I guess trying to make me go back to that stupid office giving them reason for not being professionals. The job opportunity went to shit when I actually got to the job. It was ObviouS that the company was NOT ready to train a receptionist. The office manager was way to stressful and always was in a hurry or angry. My first day I waited about half an hour to be trained, so not bad. I only worked half day on my first day and got left alone for over an hour while my trainee and the manager took their "lunch". My second day of work, my trainee never showed up. I clocked out after waiting three hours for my trainee to get to work, but never did. The manager Susie finally showed up, stressed the heck out and didn't even bother to give me direction or anything to work on. Nobody else in the office, 2girls, had anything that I could help out with so I just started cleaning. I've never heard of a front admnin person sweeping and mopping as I was. I was literally so bored that I started sweeping the dust and leave outside the front entrance door. They've should have hired me for housekeeping instead of a receptionist! I would highly recommenced account temps in Visalia. I seen an opening for a job on the website. I was very interested in the job that I seen. I quickly called and spoke to Lou Saelee he was very helpful and very professional. He then told me to come into the office and meet with him to discuss what time of employment I would be interested in. Also he wanted to know my work background. I had to complete some documents via email and complete a few tests online/10 key test. I have to say that I am very disappointed with Office Team but the office specifically in Visalia. I had previously left a good review because I had been contacted by a representative in Office Team who found me an assignment asap. I was thrilled and was having a great time with the assignment that was suppose to last for a while. Then out of the blue, with no warning as I am arriving to the job site, I get called that my assignment had ended and when I asked why, I was given no answer. I was shocked, turned around and headed home. From there on, I called plenty of times and sent emails to my representative to help me get a new assignment and I never got an email reply or a phone call back till 3 days ago. I went months looking for work with not luck and when I got email notifications directly from Office Team about open assignments and not only did I apply to them but emailed my representative again to let them know about positions that I was seeing, I still got no reply. Like I said, disappointed especially when I had an awesome experience with the Office Team office located in Stockton. I was expecting the same here but I was left hanging. Thank you for the small assignment that I had but I am not sure that I will seek this office specifically again or recommend this location especially when my checks where not arriving on time after I called 3 times to correct my mailing address. I worked with the Accountemps division for many years and developed a great rapport with them. Eventually, due to an error in my judgement, we had a falling out and parted ways. 10 years later, the manager of the Office Team division left me a voice message stating she saw my resume on their website and wanted to set up a meeting ASAP. I called her back and was directed to leave her a message. I did just and did not receive a call back. That evening I sent her an invite to connect through Linkedin, and she accepted early the next morning. By mid morning that day, I still had not heard back so I called again. She stated that there was a "problem" with the voice message system and wanted to know what was stated in the message that she left. I cited her message. After an unusually long pause, she stated she could not "find" my resume and asked me to email it to her. She also stated that she was going to be stuck in a meeting for 2 hours and for me to wait for her call because she would get back to me later that afternoon. I emailed her my resume and included my cell #, email address, facebook and Linkedin connection in the email and waited. I never got a call or received any electronic message through the outlets that I provided. Mid morning the next day, I re-sent my resume and contact information. Again, no response. Here we are another day later and still nothing. At the very least, let me know that you are no longer interested, for me to go to hell, to go screw myself or WHATEVER...but to totally ignore me and not have the courtesy to respond is an insult and very, very unprofessional. Remember, you were the ones that reached out to me. I hope going forward that this office will practice the same business ethics that they expect from their candidates. I wish you well. read more
