I never got sent into one of those crazy mazes of phone systems, press one for this or two for that. A friendly and kind person would answer the phone ever single time and happily take their time on the phone chatting. Companies love working with them too because they listen to exactly what the clients want and go through literally hundred of resumes to find the perfect candidate for the position instead of looking through dozens upon dozens of resumes sent over from who knows where.
