They don't even call a potential candidate back. it's very discouraging when you are applying for a job and need to be employed. at least call or email some type of response. If there was an option to leave a negative 10, I would. I was working for a GREAT company, but only part time and needed a full time position that the company was not in a position to offer. I was contacted by one of their headhunters, Andrew Lavin, about a position. I should have known from the beginning to run. First he modified my resume to the point of making it somebody else's, and expected me to present myself as the person he created, not doing that. Second, he scheduled an interview with a company on my behalf after I specifically told him I could NOT go that day, due to the fact I already have a job that I am not willing to lose to potentially find another. Third, when I agreed to a different day and time, I informed Andrew Lavin that one of the companies' requirements (I would need to leave at 530 and not 6 daily) was not able to meet and I wanted to make sure the company was fully aware of that prior to me wasting their time or mine prior to my arrival. I sent Andrew 4 messages within 2 days asking him to confirm that he told the company what I asked him to, he did not respond. On my WAY TO THE INTERVIEW, after having left work early to make the drive, I texted him again and asked if he told the company about the hours, his response was, "what time would you have to leave", I replied "5:30", he responded within 2 seconds, saying "yeah we told them", obviously a LIE because I just told him not 2 seconds prior! I responded "really? When? I just told you" his reply was so typical Shady Miami, he said "I'm canceling the interview I've wasted too much time answering your questions". WHAT?! So Andrew Lavin lied then cancelled my interview as I'm pulling into the location, already taken the time off of work, wasted an hour driving there and Andrew Lavin of Robert Half Legal cancels the interview because he got caught in a lie?!? WOW. Unfortunately, this is very typical in the Sunshine State with the Shadiest people, Miami. However, so completely unprofessional. First he wanted me to lie on my own resume, scheduled an interview that I specifically told him I couldn't make, which the people didn't find out I couldn't make it until I didn't show up because he NEVER TOLD THEM, then gets caught in yet another lie so makes me waste my time and money and cancels my interview. Don't waste your time. I worked as a temporary receptionist at this location a for a few weeks and got to see how deceitful and pompous this company is. They would give me the reports they completed about each job seeker after meeting with them.. these reports never focused on the person's actual skills. Instead, their notes during the interview included: "Has accent", "Dyed Hair" etc. They lowball every job seeker as well. So it doesn't matter your experience because their tactic is to make you second guess your worth by diminishing your accomplishments. That way, you'd accept anything although it's very rare to have successful placement with this company to begin with. Your best bet is to connect with recruiters on LinkedIn from the actual companies you are targeting and get out to local professional events and network! It's laughable that Robert Half tried to kill my spirit and now I have offers from Microsoft, IBM, PricewaterhouseCoopers etc. Run from this company. read more

I moved out here from New York City looking for work. I was relieved when I saw it was an Robert Half because I have experience working with this Agency in New York. When I called in Mayla Garcia became my recruiter she gave me my first assignment as an onboarding admin for a remote position due to Covid restrictions at Reef Technology as a full time position making $20/hourly. I was excited expecting long term but was shortly ended because it was temp. I explained to Mayla at the time I didn't have a car would like to have a remote position as I get on my feet and looking for permanent full time work only. She recommended Wix as a Covid tester which also paid $20/hourly but it was a part-time in person. I lived on the beach at the time so I took it. I realized it was becoming too expensive with Ubers so I was practically working for free. I complained about the lack of consideration and not matching my resume experience. I personally was looking for permanent Executive/ Administrative Assistance work. She was very slow to responding and at one point began not answering my calls. She told me in order to get work out here I must have a car or reliable transportation and must be a Spanish speaker which I understood but coming from Nyc and Spanish not being a language I speak should not discriminate me from work. I tried one last time with Mayla and at this point Brenda. They recommended a full-time position in Brickell as an administrative assistant pay was $16. I needed a job at this point I explained I will do this temporary but I need something that pays more because of my commute. At this point they totally abandoned me and I found myself really not being happy. I felt my needs were not met. I realized this agency was a joke and honestly they didn't care if I had bills or other responsibilities. Be careful with this agency and I hope this will bring light to those who move out here from other states. Thankfully I'm working with another agency who have met my needs! read more

I don't usually write LONG reviews, especially 1 star reviews but I MUST this time. The front desk receptionist deserves a camera so that she can see how she treats certain applicants. This was my HORRIBLE front desk experience. I witnessed one applicant leave out of frustration because the front desk receptionist is #1 not professional and #2 i believe she played the favoritism game this day. I was also mistreated which is why I'm writing this review. Applicant: Good Morning, I have my 2 forms of ID. Receptionist: You will have to wait because other ppl have appointments (THAT i totally understand. .I was one of those people.) 15 min later.. Applicant: I just have to show "him" the ID. He told me to just bring it by and that it wouldn't take that long. Receptionist: no, you have to wait your turn 20 min or so later... Receptionist: called the applicant up to fill out various papers... Applicant: what is this? He told me I just had to show the ID. Receptionist: Well you know you didn't fill out any paperwork yesterday so this is the paper work. Applicant: I've been sitting here a long time. (She started filling out papers) Applicant: All of this, no I can't do this, he said to just drop it off Receptionist: oh well Applicant: i can't, just forget it, I'm done... (she ripped the papers and left out the door) ( I agree with the applicant..why didn't you give her the papers 30 min earlier especially when she told you the rep told her to just drop it off) My issue with her.. I had a scheduled interview at 10:30 i arrived at 10:33. I am recovering from a major surgery and can't walk as fast, I also underestimated the amount of available parking. I had already spoke to my rep to let them know about getting the other ID due to me not being able to go to my lock box..she said it was ok still come in for the interview. Well the Receptionist treated me like crap because of this. She was saying I didn't register "early" enough? What, the email doesn't say do this right now..it says before coming in. (I did it at 7 that morning) Well, an Attorney came in maybe 10 mins after me who stated he was a little late for his interview also. He did have both of his IDs. She gave him paper work after about 5 min of waiting. She still hadn't given me any thing. Then after i waited for 30 min she gave me some papers. As I was fillling them out "MY" interviewer called the attorney. Me to the Receptionist as she was headed out: Does she know I'm here for her as well? I was scheduled and also here before him Receptionist: stared at me (infront of other applicants) He finished his papers before you Me: You gave me the papers AFTER him even though i was here first Receptionist: I didn't have to give you ANY papers, I did YOU a favor! Company policy is 2 ids not just 1, thats why I didn't give you any I 9 forms Me: Ok, I will talk to my interviewer ,you have a nice day." She walked out. The other applicants just looked at me in awe. One said " oh I've heard she was very rude but not the people in the back, they are nice" another said " oh my God I thought it was the last applicant now I see its her, she was very rude to you. Even if she is having a bad day she didn't have to talk to you like that." I assured them I was going to make a complaint. Well I had to wait an additional 20 mins when I should have been seen before the "attorney". My parking was about $16 dollars and I'm not working now so that extra time did make a difference but I'm sure the Receptionist didn't care. This review may put my name on the " Don't call back list" at Robert Half being that the Receptionist did speak with the interviewer right before I went to her, but sometimes people are so eager for a job that they will tolerate being mistreated but this issue MUST be noted publicly. I won't pull the race card at all I will just say treat everyone equally. Moreover If an applicant says they've already discussed an issue with an interviewer, the Receptionist should not reprimand the applicant by extending thier wait time intentionally. read more

Robert half would call me about a job then ask me wow your education it's outstanding. Then I won't here from them for 5 months with the same thing. I went in for an interview and skill testing. i spoke with Brenda who was thorough and quick in my interview but then after my skill test she was on the phone with another client and I was told to go ahead and leave and she would call me later. I would NOT recommend Office Team if you're looking to fill an administrative position. We used Office Team to try to fill a permanent position and had a terrible experience with them. We dealt with Brenda who is friendly but mostly unavailable and Sandy who dropped the ball numerous times. The candidates they sent us ranged from unimpressive to incredibly unprofessional. They sent us three different candidates: The first candidate was late on the first day because Sandy had sent her to the wrong location. On top of that, Sandy told the candidate that the position was permanently part-time, when the position was indeed full-time. We accommodated her schedule because she seemed rather likeable. This candidate stayed with us the longest amount of time, but in time, she demonstrated truly unprofessional behavior: asking us for an "advance" when she didn't receive a paycheck from Office Team in a timely manner, taking off 6 out of 30 days she worked here, repeated lateness, etc. After speaking to Brenda about the first candidate, she offered us a free day with the second candidate to make sure she would be a good fit. The second candidate seemed like a great lady but her English skills were sub-par and the position called for strong spoken and written English. After the first day, I told Brenda we would not be interested in keeping the second candidate. Though Brenda had assured me we would not be billed for that day (it was supposed to be a "working interview"), we were indeed billed. The third candidate they sent came dressed in jeans and a hoodie - not business casual by any stretch. She called in sick to Office Team on her third day: a message Sandy did not find necessary to share with us until after I had a chance to contact her, one and a half hours after the supposed start time. I told Sandy there and then that we were not interested in having the third candidate return and she assured me that she would speak to her. The following day, the third candidate was here and it fell on us to have to ask her to leave and not come back. I spoke to Brenda this morning who has found a way of justifying each of these incidents and while I agree that each incident individually is understandable, when you add them all up in such a short amount of time, what you get is an inefficient, ineffective staffing agency sending you a group of people that have not been interviewed and screened properly. read more

Don't even bother calling, you are wasting your time. I have worked for other OfficeTeams in this country and this is one of the worst, by far. If you call, they don't call back. If you email, they don't email you back. Even if you are already in the system, *IF* you get any sort of work, it will be well beneath your ability and pay requirement. Even if you take something at the last second so they look good, you will be repaid with fast-talking, lackluster, low-skilled and low-paying positions. On top of that, get ready for some very nasty attitude from this branch. How dare you not accept the $9.00 an hour position they offer you despite the fact you can do far far far more? And how dare you call with a question and expect to be on the phone for more than 60 seconds. I have never dealt with such nonprofessionalism until I dealt with this branch. I thought it was just my imagination until I met 5 complete strangers who said the *exact* same thing. They all reported that the OfficeTeams in their previous cities were far more professional than this one. I had a good view of OfficeTeam until I dealt with this branch. If you are looking to work with professionals who are serious about finding work which is at your ability level and pay requirements, skip this OfficeTeam (and the other in Miami as well; they are both very unprofessional). It was supposed to be two week assignment turned into 5 weeks! Officeteam has and will continue to be an leader in job placements. I was very appalled at the customer service at this agency. I was scheduled for an interview. I arrived 20 minutes early. The receptionist come out ask me what time is my interview I advised. I sit in the waiting area that smelled of food. I sat for another 30 minutes waiting for this interview. I was then told I am not registered, which was not true. I went into the computer and my profiles there with my resume. The unprofessional woman kept saying I am not registered when she and I see the profile. Then while someone is waiting in the office this silly woman ask for my social security number out loud. This office building is beautiful but this agency was a mess. I was very surprised because I know Robert Half to be a very professional staffing agency. I also emailed the resume to two people in this office. At the end of the day I wasted time and money this was absolutely unacceptable.
