Recruitment 101, you are not only servicing the client but you should also be servicing the applicant so you can keep them on file as a potential submission for other job opportunities with other companies and also secure future referrals. If you don't fill roles with applicants, you don't get paid!!! The recruiter Gabriela is horrible. First off, she's incredibly rude in tone via email. Secondly, she strongly encourages applicants not have any communication with the hiring manager during or after the interview process regarding the role (And will get upset if it's not followed). She doesn't follow up via email quick enough with answers to questions, which is horrible. She doesn't even make attempts to try to get strong feedback from hiring managers. She takes what the hiring manager gives them. It's really bad recruiting. Gabriela continues to harp via email that, "We service the client", "we service the client". What applicant wants to work with any external agency that doesn't even try to make a candidate/applicant feel like the agency wants to help them and represent them? Nobody! I would stay far away from this agency, unless you desperately need a job.

I signed up and the insurance and found out that Labcorp blood work was not covered. API Insurance did not cover diagnostic and lab work. I would have never signed up for Apple One health insurance had I known that the diagnostic testing such as X-Rays and Blood work, the essentials to diagnosing a disability. The person who answered the phone was so unprofessional. I had to ask 3 times for his name, to start a conversation. I even had to ask if I was calling The Staff Agency for the way he answered the phone was as if this was a residence and not a business. After I mentioned that I live half a block from him, and wanted to give the opportunity to a local business, I started describing what my corporation is about, hence, the reason of my call. He immediately cut me off and hung up while I was speaking. Furthermore, he harassed me via text!!! (see screenshot attached). I was polite and professional, as usual. To add, he lied to his boss (after the boss saw this review) saying I was calling to ask for money, which the word "money" never even come up on the 30 seconds conversation. So, in addition of unprofessional and rude, he is a total liar. I don't thing this is a real agency and if they are, they are very unprofessional, therefore, just imagine the kind of employees they will refer.... I was not only involved in the process, I understood and internalized it. He created a succinct and matter of fact cover letter for me (he is fantastic at making someone look good while being truthful). He rewrote my LinkedIn profile and really showed me how powerful of a tool it could be in not only attracting headhunters but also building one's personal brand. Scott's work got results, I started getting calls, and generating a lot of interest! Found my way to gainful employment. Not a lot of people thing consider the psychological component to job searching, but he helped me regain my confidence and armed me for battle.
