My experience with OfficeTeam (as a candidate) was amazing. I assumed that in a business climate such as the one we're experiencing now, with high unemployment, it would be a "buyer's market," so to speak, and that I would have to push and fight to get help and assignments, but I could not have been more wrong. The whole team was highly professional and eager to help me. They returned phone calls promptly and offered online training classes to help me improve my office skills. When a highly desirable temporary-to-permanent position became available, they contacted me and helped through every step of setting up and acing the interview, negotiating the contract, and transitioning smoothly. Furthermore, my new employer (for whom I am now a happy employee!) reports similar satisfaction with the level of communication from OfficeTeam, and couldn't be happier with the short time it took to fill the position or with the quality and fit of the applicants. I have not had any luck with them. As previously stated they will bring you in and get your info and interview you but that's it. Even though I see that there are jobs listed that I know I am qualified for I never hear anything. Sometimes they will call saying that they are working on somethings and will submit you but they NEVER follow up. read more

This is one of the best staffing companies I've ever worked for. I've read some other reviews online and people are saying that they are a scam, etc. I signed up with them and 3 days later they called me. Two weeks later they found me a job paying decent money and my coworkers are AMAZING people. I love OfficeTeam! We get paid every week and the job they found for me fits me very well based from my previous jobs. read more

Don't waste your time calling this agency. I called and left several messages and no one has bothered to call me back. It's obvious they don't care about getting you any work. They claim the person that you need to get in contact with is out of the office but how can they be out of the office for a whole month. They pick and choose who they want to give work to. This OfficeTeam staff, including the manager, treated me as less than human by far. My initial "interview" consisted of one of their staff asking me about 3 extremely generic questions like"Full time or part time?" I was in their office for no more than 6 minutes once the 'interview' started. I wondered how they could possibly place me in a compatible job after such a lame interview. I felt like a number. I didn't hear from them for about 6 weeks after that, I ended up calling them back. Then within 2 weeks I was placed in a job that was so beneath my skills it was discouraging & demeaning. I was previously a Marketing Director, Directors for various companies, Head Trainer, Teacher, and was placed in a Receptionist position. If OfficeTeam had actually read my resume, they would have known this job was clearly no match for me, my personality or all of my work experience which is all on the managerial level. Plus it paid horribly. The pay was an insult. I only took it trying to have an open mind, thinking there may be other opportunities with the company and immediately wondered why they placed me there. I decided to try to be as positive as possible and wait until I had time to search for another job on my own. I was then let go for the fact that I was vomiting at work one day and had to leave at 2:30 on a Friday when my boss was already gone and had just commented how Friday's are so laid-back with "not much going on". I did all the work in advance while feeling horrible that needed to be done that day. She forced me to stay there for over 20 minutes after I told her I was vomiting. Then proceeded to come in, tell me to forward the phones, and not look at me saying "see you Monday". OfficeTeam staff called me 45 mins. later to say I was let go for 'excessive absences'. (I never called out once.) The OfficeTeam staff who called said I sounded horrible and to 'get better, don't worry, we'll still work with you, call me Monday." Following that I called her twice and was told by her "I need the key back for the company." She was incredibly cold & curt on the phone. I told her I was going to be out of town for a few days and would look for them when I returned. She then left 2 harrassing messages on my phone and decided it was appropriate to call a family member I had listed for Emergency Medical Contact information. That info. is to be used when I am an employee, for that purpose. Unacceptable. Not to mention ridiculous. The family member she chose to call and bother who lives 300 miles away also has my handicapped Father to help 24/7. Then when I called to ask why my family member was contacted regarding a key that was the immature manager's fault I even had, I was called back by the OfficeTeam manager and threated for calling to ask that. Last I checked, freedom of speech was still a right in this country. Absolutely unbelievable lame excuse for a 'company'. These people have the professionalism of 3 year olds. read more

I received an email today from the Staffing Manager and in the subject line it stated "Please Call". There was nothing in the body of the email. I called and they previously had my old numbers from when I registered with them in 2014. She said that she tried to call them but I'm not sure why she didn't call the number on my resume that she had in front of her but that's neither here or there. So she went on and proceeded to ask me what my plans were for this new position. I explained to her that I was currently a contractor but looking for a permanent position and I will accept temp to hire as well. So then she basically said that she had 3 people lined up for interviews ahead of me for this position. She said that since I am currently employed that she tries to fill her positions with people that are not employed because if they have to staff immediately they would not have time to wait on me to submit my 2 weeks resignation to my current employer. I basically told her that I did not understand that because I have never heard of that before and that I thought that it was unfair. She told me that she would love to work with me due to my experience however, I already was employed and they were not looking for that. So as I was listening in disbelief as she talked, I still told her that it was confusing so she interrupted me and said "So when do you want to come in for an interview" completing ignoring my statement of confusion. I told her that if that's how the company operates then that's fine and that's their choice and then I assume she hung up because my phone stated "call ended". Very unprofessional and I even called back to the office to speak with someone above her but no response yet. I'm okay if that's how they operate but why even contact me when you clearly see on my resume that I am employed at my current job. Waste of time. read more
