It is formerly the Harrods Cigar Room and is still owned and operated by James J. Fox. It is a beautiful shop with a well stocked walk in humidor on one side and a fantastic sampling room on the other. My Wife and I purchased a newly released Upmann Connoisseur B and the new Montecristo linea 1935 Dumas to smoke. We were treated so well by the store manager Habib and smoked and chatted with him for well over an hour. The sampling room has a unique ventilation system in which air flows from the floor and exits the ceiling. Habib let us know that it was designed by cigar legend Vahe Gerard but the best thing is that your clothes do not smell of cigar when you leave. Thank you Habib for the wonderful hospitality and for recommending Amaya for a late lunch. It was as amazing as you guys said and we now have a favorite cigar sampling room and Indian restaurant in London.

No one was quick to help me they just started at me and looked like they didn't want to be at work it was very disheartening considering how excited I was to be there. Once I actually asked someone to help me in the humidor I noticed that the sommelier wasn't helpful and when I picked out a very expensive cigar he picked one out that was cracked. For a $200 cigar I expected a perfect one which there was in the box but he gave me a damaged one. This place is also over priced. After leaving Davidoff of London I went to James J. Fox about 1 minute away and the staff was very helpful and enthusiastic to help me. Their cigars were all in great condition and cheaper than Davidoff of London. I felt like an idiot for over paying for the cigars at Davidoff when I could've purchased better condition and cheaper cigars at J. J. Fox. I heard about Davidoff on Kirby Allison's channel and he speaks so highly of them and grew to love them as well but unfortunately that love is lost. My advice would be to train the staff on hospitality it's clearly lacking, do a better job with quality control, and adjust your prices to be competitive with your neighbors.

Concomitantly, Dominika is legitimately the least professional individual that I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with at a cigar shop. Moreover, their prices are high, their cigars are substandard, and they outright lie about all of their cigars being EMS. By their own admission, many boxes are sourced from other countries/regions despite their website saying that ALL of their cigars have the EMS seal, but, most of all, their customer service is beyond abysmal. The only decent person that I spoke with there was Stefano. But, unfortunately, Stefano doesn't deal with online orders, super rude and petty Dominika does. Terrible experience; stay away from this fraudulent place!
