Best of the best. I utilized this firm twice both for the purchase and sale of my coop in flushing…read more Omg omg (full disclosure, I'm also an attorney) I appreciate diligence, responsiveness, no bullshit, advocating for clients to the fullest! This firm is exactly that! They made sure I got all of my rights protected and pushed the closings! Client centered lawyering is what you will get with these guys. Thanks again, Ryan!!

We've worked with The Law Firm of Walsh & Gilad (W&D), formerly The Law Firm of Ryan J. Walsh, and…read moreregret our decision because the firm is unprofessional. They made the home-buying process even more stressful. W&D's lack of communication delayed the process and wasted everyone's time. In the beginning, the firm was there to answer our questions, but things went bad a week in, after our agent worked with W&D directly. Our real estate agent often called and explained "We're waiting on W&D to respond," or "We can't move forward because we're waiting on W&D." As we got further into the home-buying process our loan officer called to complain about the same problem. "W&D is holding up the process," our loan officer explained. After speaking with our loan officer, I asked to see a copy of the emails and to be BCC'd on new emails going forward. I learned W&D did not respond to emails nor returned calls for time-sensitive information. It turns out W&D sat on emails for days before they responded. When we (hubby and I) reached out, W&D blamed the other side for holding up the process. Some of W&D Yelp reviews are not genuine. The firm solicits 5 star reviews and a few reviewers confirmed they were compensated to leave positive remarks after they successfully closed on their home. We missed this at first glance, but if you read the reviews at the bottom of this Yelp page, you will see "61 other reviews that are not currently recommended." Yelp's software (and I hope human moderators), understands the below reviews violate Yelp's terms of service because they were solicited. We learned this by reaching out to some of the reviewers after dealing with W&D. It was an awful experience working with W&D. W&D had a hands-off approach and was loosely in contact with us throughout the process. We wanted professionals who should have worked well with the loan officers, lawyers, and real estate agents. Someone who was there to walk us through the process. Someone who was there to answer questions along the way (our first-time buying in NYC). Unfortunately, W&D didn't meet our expectations set from our previous home-buying experience. Ultimately we didn't get the property, but not because of W&D. The firm kept our deposit and that's fine because the service they provided wasn't worth the full amount. I don't recommend The Law Firm of Walsh & Gilad.
