Medium sized hairdresser. Robert is a hairdresser, he owns the shop, and cuts here. He has a small team around him who basically pays rent for the chair and to cut there. The stylists are quite good, some young and old, different sorts of prices, so worth popping in a finding out what you want. I recently went into Roberts In Harleston for a re-style, i was a first timer there, The Reception was extremely friendly and welcoming. I had an early appointment so was the first client of the stylists day, she arrived 10 minutes after myself, i was immediately taken to the washbasin for a shampoo, it was there that i had my 'consultation' i was not pleased by this as the stylist did not ask many questions as to what i would like done, or even looked at the hairstyle i wanted to see if it would suit me. i had a cold hairwash and taken to the mirror she was working at. She then asked me a few more questions and asked to see the photos i took in of the hair style i wanted. Once she finished the back she then asked how long i wanted the front, i showed her by holding the hair to the length i wanted, she proceded to cut- shorter than i had asked for. The one side was longer than the other and as she started to cut the longer side shorter to match i said i didnt mind the difference in length, as the other side was too short for my liking. i repeatedly asked her to thin out the hair and make it choppy which she did not. Overall i was happy with the hair cut although there was thing i would have liked different. I would have liked to have been asked about the style i wanted in a consultation before i had a shampoo rather than being asked through out. I would go back for another haircut there but would probally have a different stylist. The price of my haircut was very reasonable and i was very happy with the service from the reception. read more
