After chatting with Don for a bit, and him giving the pup a treat, we began to discuss the Providence Jewelry District of the past. You know, the one where there were a bunch of jewelry companies in downtown? Anyway. This reminded me that I have a sentimental ring that no longer fits me and Don offered to take a look and see if he can resize it for me. Next trip into the city, I brought along the ring and Don got to work. Sadly for me, the type of ring it is does not allow for him to resize it without dramatically changing the appearance. Well, now I know. I appreciate his efforts, honesty and integrity. He shined up the ring before returning it to me as well. There was no charge for this attempt and I very much appreciate his thoughtfulness. The shop is a collection of many jewelry artisans work. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings. Along with a plethora of very unique wall clocks, this is one fun and funky shop.
