This school is really bad. My daughter was on Ms. Rothwel & Dickens class, therese two women were often absent, as they both were struggling to do their job back then after both of them just came back from maternity leave and were obviously not prepared. My daughter was ignored and not included her in class activities, often left alone.
They had a substitute teacher with no experience or patience and had an incident that traumatized my daughter for many years, the substitute teacher sent me a very unprofessional e-mail about a situation that escalated so much that 9 years later still hunts my daughter.
New principal planned a meeting were BOTH teachers arrived late almost at the end of the meeting, the incident With the substitute teacher was NEVER addressed. It was the principal, the grade 2 teacher and my husbands idea to change my daughter to a different school, thinking of her well being, and happiness as they realized the damage done.
We got her enrolled to attend Buchanan school from grade 2 and her happiness and grades improved within a week. Please do your research before getting your child to this school. Elementary years are so important specially grade 1. Be selective. read more
