With Dr. Britten and his office I'm thoroughly happy to go in for my visit. The people are wonderful, my hygienist Ellen is friendly, caring, and so, so competent. She's patient and persistent and 100% on your side. If you EVER need a periodontist or implant dentist you MUST do yourself the favor of seeing Dr. Britten and the people in his office. (In case you're wondering, I'm not related to anyone there, I'm just such a dental coward that finding a place I can go and get perfect care without stressing out every time makes me so happy.)

As a former Registered Dental Assistant i was in total shock. It took the doctor less than two minutes to extract it. I insisted my husband call back and he spoke to the Dr who agreed he had been overcharged. 2 months later the Dr Pikos will not come to the phone despite 5 or 6 attempts to speak to him. I have seen many periodontists, after one of them rated the…read morebest few years ago, did a big damage to my teeth. I started to search others and visit quite a few. I didn't like any of them. One day I discovered Dr. Robert Yu. Read about him, I saw the picture, serious and calm man, and I thought to myself "This is the one". I have been going to him for few years, trying to fix the damage done by another doctor - Dr. Crawford. Yes, the one that had interview with the local TV, the one who after procedure have no time for you, and who's wife at the counter yelled at me for rescheduling an appointment. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Yu and his office girls. So gentle, so caring, so intelligent. Every year he is attending classes in EU to update his knowledge with the latest in dentistry. If you see his office, you will know that the equipment and the services he performs are different quality, from others. You don't feel the needle with anesthesia, implants are ceramic, one piece and much more. But the most important fact is:: He cares about the patient, he will not compromise for more expensive procedures, something many others do. And when the dentist cares more about money, the service you get won't be what you need and possibly create more problems. That is exactly what happens to me, and Dr. Yu has fixed everything. Knowing so many others, I am afraid to visit another dentist. Be very careful when you choose one. Your teeth are very serious business! Never write a review right after you had something done. The problem is treated, you feel good, but what happened after the anesthesia wear off? Always wait few months, at least. I made that mistake and many others have too. Then is not so easy to write a bad review for many people. It is not a happy experience, and some people don't care about others health being compromised.

He seemed to get irritated if you take too much of his time or ask too many questions. I had to ask for the antibiotics after the gum surgery, and he gave me the prescription as a photocopy, rather than the original receipt, which I have never seen any doctor's office do. Neither he nor his staff ever called to check back on me to see how I was doing, even though I have serious medical issues. I researched his records online, and found he has some criminal records, which I did not discover until after I had the bone graft. When I tried to call for a checkup after the 4 month healing period, their phones were blocking my calls. I tried to reach them for 2 weeks by asking someone to go by there and tell them I was trying to reach them, and they claimed they were having problems with their phones. What doctor's office leaves their phones out of service for 2 weeks, and does not answer calls from their patients? I won't be back there. I would carefully consider being careful to not put my care into any dentist who conducts his practice in such a cold, calculating manner as that. I do not recommend this doctor.

Clearwater Family Dental is truly something special. @myclearwaterfamilydental…read more Dr. Theresa, daughter of the late Dr. Paul, has taken over the practice, and it's clear she carries on his legacy with the same humility, compassion, and philanthropic heart that made him so beloved. From the moment you walk in, you feel that this practice genuinely cares about people--not just teeth. I was first introduced to Clearwater Family Dental when I brought my mother (75, living with dementia) and my 95-year-old stepfather. The entire team made them feel safe, respected, and comfortable, and both were extremely pleased with their extractions and updated dentures. That experience alone spoke volumes. After that, I decided to become a patient myself--and I'm so grateful I did. My experience here has been night and day compared to previous dental offices. The attention to detail, education, patience, and skill of Certified Registered Dental Hygienist Nicole Osika was exceptional. As a caregiver, I had admittedly neglected my own dental care, and she truly had her work cut out for her. I only wish I had taken before-and-after photos of my cleaning--I honestly feel like I have brand-new teeth! What stands out most is that this practice is clearly not driven by money alone. It's evident that management truly cares about their employees, their patients, and even the environment, embracing a more natural and holistic approach to dental health. I'm incredibly grateful that practices like Clearwater Family Dental still exist. Highly, highly recommend. Thanks to the whole team!
