Dr. Autore is a real person! Today I met him as a new patient. My first interaction with Stacy she's Adm. Asst Extremely friendly and professional just seems to be a happy person and it shows. Marin she's the best hygienist I just knew she was going to lecture me about flossing. She was so sweet and gentle she didn't make me feel bad at all but, pointed areas I need to work on. She made sure the polish was off my face.. so nice. The "MAN" Dr. Autore is just the right dentist. You would've thought we knew each other for years. Being a nurse bedside manner is EVERYTHING. Thank you Yelpers for leading my husband and I to this wonderful dentist . read more

Dr Autore is one of the finest adult general dentists, if not, the best in California or for that matter, our country. His thorough knowledge, technical excellence, and patient interaction precede him. I have worked with Dr Autore as a physician in a military out patient clinic over 40 years ago. His dental service then was of the highest quality and perfection. He prides himself on perfection in his practice. If it were not for Dr. Autore, I would have had dentures many years ago. His office staff is knowledgeable, polite and take your dental needs with serious concern. If you have any dental needs, questions or just want the best adult general dentist and thorough treatment,I would highly recommend making an appointment with him and his great office. Robert Autore, DMD - Dr Bob is the best!!! - General Dentistry Near Me - San Pedro, California

Ten star dentist!! I had despaired of ever having a beautiful smile, I had gaps and crooked teeth, and lots of silver fillings. When I came in Dr Autore asked if I was interested in doing some non-invasive cosmetic bonding to close some of the spaces. He said if I didn't like the results it could be removed without harming my teeth. Well, I didn't like the results- I LOVED it!!!!!! Now people compliment me all the time on my beautiful smile, I tell them I have a great dentist!!!! Thanx Doc! read more

My boyfriend had an emergency while eating nachos on a Saturday evening. He broke his front veneer. Mind you he has no insurance and had never been here before. I found this awesome office on yelp due to great reviews. They were the only office to call back and willing to fit him in. He was extremely happy. I used to work in dentistry and know there are some not so great dentist . But he's temp looks amazing and he even had another tooth bonded and it improved his smile a 100%. My guy not a yelper but it's important people are informed of this gem. If you need a dentist check them out. Reasonable prices and great staff. read more

Wow! It's been a long time since my last deep cleaning, and I couldn't have felt more comfortable. From Stacy greeting me at the window, Noelle doing my X-rays, Marisa doing my deep cleaning(amazing!), and my consultation with Dr. Autore. This was thee most satisfying dental experience I've had in a long time. The best part was the 80's music. Looking forward to next visit. read more

First off let me state I've been a dental chicken since I was a kid. I had cavities every time I went to the dentist so as an adult I avoided the dentist at all costs.. and unfortunately that cost was to my teeth. After many years of ignoring the problem I finally went to UCLA school of dentistry to try and get it fixed. However my second time in the chair, I broke down in tears and was asked never to come back. =( I was then lucky to find Dr. Autore. Upon my first consultation he listened to my fears and was very open and accommodating to help put my mind at ease. It took about 3-4 months to fully do all the work in my mouth. We're talking 3 crowns, multiple root canals, fillings, cleanings, etc.. And not ONCE did I cry.. and with each and every treatment my trust in Dr. Autore grew more and more. In fact I had my last root canal this week and couldn't have been more comfortable. I was calm and smiling and in a great mood which in the past would never happen!!! Dental chickens this is the place to go - you will be well taken care of and he will give you back your dental sanity :) read more

Dr. Autore has been our family dentist for years! He makes all of his work affordable and has generously worked with me when needed, knowing I'm a starving student and intern, as I have no dental insurance. I would never let another dentist touch my teeth. He is gentle and I absolutely HATE any dental work in my mouth, BUT since it's life, I can always count on Dr. Autore to keep me comfortable and pain free during every procedure I've had. Noelle, his dental assistant is always amazing and makes you very comfortable. She's great at keeping me distracted! Best dentist in San Pedro and a great team of office staff. Thanks for always taking such good care of me, Dr. A! (Just realized this never posted with my check in a couple months back!) read more

Dr. Autore & staff are awesome.... The epitome of customer service!

Dr. Autore spent a lot of time talking to me, but I just wanted a cleaning and exam. The hygienists seem to change quite often, but have all done a decent job. While the front desk lady is very sweet, twice she scheduled appointments that I had not requested or agreed to. In one instance she had decided that since my insurance only pays for cleanings every six months, she would cancel my appointment that was scheduled for three months after my last cleaning and reschedule it for a couple of months later. She never called to tell me or even apologize after I showed for the originally scheduled appointment written in her own handwriting on an appointment card She just said that I would have to come back in two or three months. I had made it very clear that I was well aware that my insurance would not cover four cleanings a year and have been paying for them out of pocket for years. Overall, decided that after taking an afternoon off work for no reason and not getting so much as an apology, I wanted a more reliable office with whom to work. read more

Dr. Autore and his staff are fantastic. Everyone is very kind and understanding. The office is absolutely prestine. I had to have an old bridge removed, a tooth pulled and a new bridge made. He spent over an hour fabricating a temporary bridge and fitting it. Then had the frame for the new bridge sent to the office for a preliminary fitting. I regret that I did not come to him before, as I had been with another dentist in town for several years. His fees are extremely reasonable compared to my previous dentist. Hi is very gentle and professional. I absolutely recommend him. read more
