My boyfriend had an emergency while eating nachos on a Saturday evening. He broke his front veneer. Mind you he has no insurance and had never been here before. I found this awesome office on yelp due to great reviews. They were the only office to call back and willing to fit him in. He was extremely happy. I used to work in dentistry and know there are some not so great dentist . But he's temp looks amazing and he even had another tooth bonded and it improved his smile a 100%. First off let me state I've been a dental chicken since I was a kid. I had cavities every time I went to the dentist so as an adult I avoided the dentist at all costs.. and unfortunately that cost was to my teeth. After many years of ignoring the problem I finally went to UCLA school of dentistry to try and get it fixed. However my second time in the chair, I broke down in tears and was asked never to come back. =( I was then lucky to find Dr. Autore. Upon my first consultation he listened to my fears and was very open and accommodating to help put my mind at ease. It took about 3-4 months to fully do all the work in my mouth. We're talking 3 crowns, multiple root canals, fillings, cleanings, etc.. And not ONCE did I cry.. and with each and every treatment my trust in Dr. Autore grew more and more. In fact I had my last root canal this week and couldn't have been more comfortable. I was calm and smiling and in a great mood which in the past would never happen!!! He makes all of his work affordable and has generously worked with me when needed, knowing I'm a starving student and intern, as I have no dental insurance. I would never let another dentist touch my teeth. Dr. Autore spent a lot of time talking to me, but I just wanted a cleaning and exam. The hygienists seem to change quite often, but have all done a decent job. While the front desk lady is very sweet, twice she scheduled appointments that I had not requested or agreed to. In one instance she had decided that since my insurance only pays for cleanings every six months, she would cancel my appointment that was scheduled for three months after my last cleaning and reschedule it for a couple of months later. She never called to tell me or even apologize after I showed for the originally scheduled appointment written in her own handwriting on an appointment card She just said that I would have to come back in two or three months. I had made it very clear that I was well aware that my insurance would not cover four cleanings a year and have been paying for them out of pocket for years. Overall, decided that after taking an afternoon off work for no reason and not getting so much as an apology, I wanted a more reliable office with whom to work. read more

Dr. Autore and his staff are fantastic. Everyone is very kind and understanding. The office is absolutely prestine. I had to have an old bridge removed, a tooth pulled and a new bridge made. He spent over an hour fabricating a temporary bridge and fitting it. Then had the frame for the new bridge sent to the office for a preliminary fitting. I regret that I did not come to him before, as I had been with another dentist in town for several years. His fees are extremely reasonable compared to my previous dentist.
