Arrival time - 11:55am Leave time - 3:10pm I am not one to write reviews but over 3 hours for an oil change - tire rotation/balance is unacceptable. After 2 hours of waiting the service rep asked me where my spline key for my lug nuts were, meaning they hadn't even taken the tires off yet. I glanced in the shop and confirmed through the technician that they hadn't changed the oil yet either. I asked the tech how the tires are balancing and he informed me that he "left them where they were because the ones on the back needed more weight", meaning if I hadn't walked to the back and double checked, my tires wouldn't have been rotated at all. I take rotating my tires serious due to the price of tires I run, keeping the tread and wear even. I spoke with the representative who informed me that they got another guy to start changing the oil (2:30pm). My beard brush that was on the middle console was tossed on the ground between door and seat on passenger side, and I had to put up my jack equipment that was pulled out in search of the lug nut attachment. The service representative was nice and helpful but overall the experience was unacceptable. Curious what else they half assed. read more

I had an appointment for a front-end alignment because the car pulled to one side when the steering wheel was straight. I arrived on time. First they tried to talk me out of having anything done by saying that their scan showed the car was within parameters. I said that regardless of what their scan said, the car pulled to one side. Then they had a mechanic drive it. Not surprisingly, it pulled to one side for the mechanic, too. By then it was 45 minutes after my appointment time and I wouldn't even have known that much if I hadn't approached the service clerk for an update because she'd driven the car past me 20 minutes earlier and parked it in the back. When I'd been there an hour I asked for another progress report, because the car was still sitting where she left it. (She'd also parked it with the window full down, so anyone could have wandered by and rummaged through it.) The progress report was that yes, it pulled to one side. I said I was running short on time and hadn't expected it to take so long. How long could I wait? I said another hour, and she thought it might be another 20-30 minutes before they got to it. In fact I waited another 35 minutes, and when the car was still sitting in the lot, 90 minutes after the appointment time, I went back inside and asked for the key back. The first associate was apparently at lunch by then, and the guy I talked to tried to tell me that it was normal for a car to pull to one side when a tire had been replaced. The last tires to be replaced were the two in the back. Not a factor. Well, they'd been working on other appointments. I said I'd had an appointment, too, an hour and a half ago, and so far all they'd done was prove that I wasn't lying about what was wrong with it. It didn't need a scan and it didn't need to be driven, because the alignment process itself would have shown them what it needed. In short, they have no regard for people's time, they'll try to get out of doing the work, and they talk down to customers. read more

My car, a RAV4, had a yellow light in the console driving in SE Arkansas and we were far from Houston, TX, our destination. The closest Toyota dealer was Robbins Toyota in Texarkana. A Manager took care of the light in less than a minute; it was an Oil Change reminder. We didn't have to wait at all. That's great service. read more

I tried a few other sales people at Robbins who did not seem to care at all, but once I spoke with JB I knew he was the right person for me to work with. I've bought close to 15 cars in places like Houston, Dallas, Little Rock, Texarkana, Shreveport...and even at this dealership once. I even serviced my Toyota there. When my 70 year old mother and I arrived, we told the salesman we were dealing with someone online but couldn't remember her name. (I had emailed the dealership about a specific car, and a lady called me. She said she had my email address and would send me a quote. I never got it btw.) This salesperson never went to get this lady - first red flag on the integrity of this place. I've never seen a salesman stab another in the back so blatantly. Told us we had to come inside before we could look at the cars. We said no, wed like to look around outside. My mother had recovered from 4 compression fractures in her spine last year. We went walking back and forth for this sales person. Told us we had to come inside, or we couldn't test drive one. Told us we had to tell them the payoff on our vehicle to determine its value. I told her we didn't remember. Pressed us for the finance company. Kept offering us another kind of car from what we asked for. Wanted us to follow them inside to get keys (again to come inside) We did not let her push us into anything. I'm sure it was frustrating, but by then, we knew what we were dealing with and just wanted a price and to get out of there. We finally went inside, and we are asked when we had the wreck in the vehicle we were considering as a trade in. We didn't have a wreck in the vehicle. We bought the car used from a dealer and was never told of a damage report. With so much manipulation and misleading info given, we aren't sure if a damage report was really found in the history or not. We will check into this with the previous dealer. After we went inside thinking we'd get a quote, we waited over 20 minutes and still no price on the vehicle, so we left. As we were pulling out of the parking spot, a sales manager came out and gave us excuses for not getting us a quote on the car or a trade in value for hers. Then he got snarky and stormed off like a high school girl with "have a nice day" in his best Bye Felicia body language. Nice. If you want a Toyota, go to Ray in El Dorado. read more

Absolutely 0 stars. I happen to be in from out of town and needed service for my 4Runner. Once service was complete I was told I needed a new tire and an air filter on my 2018 vehicle. I was told the air filter was not covered by the Toyota warranty, but when I asked about it further I was provided no reason as why it was not. "I'm not sure", the sales representative said. While I'm looking at the tire that I was told needed replaced for well over $300.00, the service mechanic also stated he found it was odd the air filter was not covered since he replaced them for free on 2108 Tacomas and Camarys. I once again asked why I was being charged for the air filter, and once again the service representative could not offer an answer and said he would ask Mike Roberts, the "sales manager". After several minutes the service rep returns with a yellow post-it note with a 1-800 number for Toyota Coporate scribbled on it, since Mr. Roberts also had no idea why this basic part was not covered by the new-car warranty. So much for professional knowledge and service. He could not even be bothered to come address my concerns and questions in person, which was even more shocking. What seemed even more off was I was the third vehicle owner approached with problems not covered by Toyota's renowned warranty while I was there. Frankly, these apparently staged vehicle issues are why people term these people as thieves and dealerships like this "stealerships". The simple lesson, I am glad I did not buy my vehicle here, Mike Roberts doesn't seem to know much about his job, and am glad I will only be confronted by these unexplained, expensive issues this one time. Way to go Robbin's Toyota! Not even one of your employees could answer whether this business was locally owned or not. Please do better by the vehicle brand I love. Also, if you're thinking about buying a car or truck here, or just having it serviced here, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. These people have no clue what they're doing, particularly Mike Roberts. UPDATE: Still no call to address my concerns from this "reputable" company, but the $300.00+ fix to my tire they quoted me came to a total of a $20.00 patch at a locally owned and operated Texarkana business that knows how to treat their customers. A lesson for Mr. Mike Roberts and the owners of Robbin's Toyota, perhaps. read more

GENERAL MNGR yelled, cussed, and lied about damages to vehicle then proceeded to say (yell) that he wasn't going to service new vehicle that was purchased from him 4 mths ago ever again. Since transferring my 2014 FJ Cruiser maintenance from Fowler Toyota in Norman OK, I've had 2 unpleasant service visits with Robbins Toyota and decided to transfer my maintenance services to a Toyota service center in Shreveport, LA. The last visit that really motivated me to seek an alternate service center was based on the fact that I was experiencing hesitation when accelerating while driving. Robbins evaluated my vehicle and told me that I needed a new transmission at the cost of almost $5,000. Since that time, I have performed recommended routine maintenance by other service centers and everything seems great with my vehicle. Although, I must say that I was further impressed when I received notification from Shreveport and later receiving confirmation info in the mail about a Recall on my 2014 FJ Cruiser. Unfortunately, I never received any communication from Robbins, just a $10 off oil change coupon that was issued by regional marketing vendor. My FJ community neighbors suggested that I give Toyota Paris, TX a visit. They have had great services there. Today, in light of so many uncertainties, it is great to have a services center that works for me. read more

I purchased a 2010 Certified Prius. Jammie was very sweet, and eager to please. We have not had any dealings with the service department, only purchased the car a few weeks ago. I have received two thank you letters from Jammie. I am still waiting on the customer car manual that was not with the car when we purchased. Jammie said the she would order one and send to us. Still waiting!!! I would caution not to leave comments on the desk regarding customers that can be read. Some remarks could be hurtful especially if you are that customer. I've taken my vehicles to Robbins Toyota for years. Most recently, Greg, Mike, and Jim took care of my servicing needs. They all three made me feel valued as a customer, fully explained diagnostic findings, and gave me options based on those findings. Is also kept updated on the status of my vehicle. I waited while my vehicle was serviced, and the wait time was appropriate for the services being done. I wouldn't trust ANYONE else to service or repair my vehicle. The great guys at Robbins have never done any unnecessary work and had always treated me honestly and fairly. read more

Words cannot even start to explain the sort of business gimmicks that go on at this dealership's service department. Driving from over an hour away to replace a simple faulty part has only gotten worse. So long story short, it's been two weeks, they've put 52 miles on my new truck in order to "diagnose the problem" when it's already been diagnosed since the first time I took it in. To make matters worse, the part they supposedly ordered was apparently the wrong part. However, instead of telling me right of the bat, they instead found it easier to let me wait in their waiting area for THREE HOURS. Then, I find my truck driving, not from their service bay, but from the street. Now why my truck was out on the open road without my express permission, I have yet to find that out. Oh yeah, and their supposed fix? It's only been 30 minutes and the problem is back. It comes to no surprise that this dealership is almost nearly empty every single day due to their customer service. You try and tell the service technician that something is wrong, and they blame the problem on something completely irrelevant. Or even better, they'll joyride your vehicle behind your back and pretend to fix the problem but really won't. Also, if you wander into the service department looking for your vehicle, they'll "kindly" escort you back into the waiting area for fear of some "insurance issues." I'm not exactly sure how much insurance damage could occur in a service lobby, so that was a major red flag when they don't even let you see what they're doing to your vehicle. So in the end, I will most likely take the vehicle back to a different dealership and let them deal with the real problem. I've had enough of wasting my time at this dealership, but seeing them drive off with my vehicle without a single word pushed me over the edge. I hope this review really helps someone who is looking at the dealership for whatever reason. My last words? I would literally drive my vehicle into the ground trying to get the problem fixed correctly in Dallas, then take it back to Robbins Toyota's service department. read more

I am thankful to Robbins Toyota for helping finance me for a nice car. I do enjoy me vehicle. It seems they did a very good job fixing the scratch on the door to, which was part of our agreement when I bought it. However, after spending $16,000 on a used car, and $3,000 on taxes and added coverage, it was frustrating that I didn't qualify for the free oil change and tire rotation like others did. Instead, I was charged $60! I didn't really expect to get a free oil change, but some people do get it, I was just disappointed at the $60 charge when I could've done it for less than half the cost. I won't bring it back for servicing, and I ll likely not do business there in the future. read more

I have been looking to trade in my 2012 Kia Soul for either a Honda or Toyota. I loved my Kia, but I knew that it didn't hold value as well. I went to three different dealerships and found cars that I liked, but I wanted to check out the Toyota dealership too. I stopped by there the afternoon of 2/26/12. I pulled up and immeadiately parked my car and was met by a salesman who didn't even as much as introduce himself to me. I told him that I was looking to trade, and I currently owed $15K on it and knew that the appraisal was at $13K. The sales person then laughed and said he didn't know who told me that, but it was more like $6k-$7k. I was completely taken aback by how rude he was! How could he possibly appraise my car without knowing the year, miles, or CarFax on it ...and then have the audacity to tell me that it was called a Kia because it stould for "Keep it Always" and was a bad car. What a joke! I have 2 other dealerships willing to work with me and I didn't have to put up with that. I called him rude and left not even 2 minutes after I arrive! My grandparents are loyal Toyota drivers since they traded in their Mercedes and last year paid cash for their new Avalon and new Tacoma from Robbins..they upgrade every two years, but after I told them this, they've decided to deal with their friend at ORR Honda instead to get any of their new vehicles. "Mr. Personality" does not need to work anywhere near customer with his oversized, overweight ego who wants to act like a superior jerk to a 23 year old woman! Get a grip on yourself if you want to actually make some money! You not only lost me as a customer, but you lost my ENTIRE family . Never underestimate the word of mouth! read more
