I went midday on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet and a perfect calm picnic date. They seem to have newly renovated the space and there is a nice playground for the kids and some picnic tables at the bottom of the hill for families to enjoy. A great place to enjoy some fresh air while taking in a beautiful view of Boston. This park features a newly renovated playground, lots of green space, and even activities such as movie nights or fourth of july fireworks specials. Robbins Farm Park is across from a school with its own little playground. One nice cool spring day, there were plenty of families about as kids played on a variety of equipment. I took a walk up the hill to where there were several benches set facing the City of Boston in the vista. For my trip down, I took one of the double slides. The kids seemed to enjoy them, but I didn't like the bumps enroute. Picnic tables were placed conveniently which encourages a more leisurely stay. read more

This is a great park for kids. Lots of space, playground, sports field, sandbox and their signature big slide. Excellent particularly for ages 4-6. I've taken the kids here many times over the past few years as a special road trip even though we don't live in Arlington. Furthermore, the hill offers a magnificent view of Boston in the evening. The entire cityscape is viewable and it's really neat. read more

I have been hearing about this park for years that it was the best park around and the slide and just soo much about it. So we headed out the other day, Yes the slide is SUPER cool... It was VERY hot in the sun on a hot day... The park itself is a little outdated & just meh, but the slide is the coolest thing here. They are doing some major construction in the background and maybe the park will get a reno soon... But it was a big enough space to play with lots of shade & seating. read more

Beautiful playground for kids! So much to do here. And they have these Hugh slides here. Great place to bring your family. There's tables and areas to sit and have picnics. There's also a porter bathroom of anyone needs to use the potty. Plenty of parking around the park. And you can even see the Boston Skyline from here. read more

We live a block away from the park, so we go there very often. Kids love it and the highlight is the super big slide. During winter, it is fun to sled there. For grownups, the view of the Boston skyline is fantastic. I took one star off because I wish they had water play area there. This may be a selfish wish. read more

Overall a great park. The slides are a true novelty, but you don't really go very fast. There are two climbing structures, if you can call them that. They're the typical modern-day jungle gym. One is very rudimentary for younger kids and the other is a little more interesting for older kids. The latter is across the street. Some of the equipment is a little dated and needs repair. The real gem about this park is its total square yardage. It's a very big park with a commanding view. It's built on a hilltop with a clear unobstructed view of ALL of Boston. I don't mean you can a sliver if you lean your head. I mean you can see ALLLL of Boston. I would recommend bringing a blanket and a picnic and a soccer ball or kite and spend the afternoon. The rolling landscape invites a stroll with the kids or the dog. And importantly, there is a porta-potty. Those of you with kids will appreciate this. Finally, someone had mentioned a dog park, but I walked the whole park and did not see any signs of a dog park, but I saw lots of dogs on leashes. If they updated some of the equipment and installed a true climbing structure this place would be epic. read more

Hi! It's Daisy! I like to come here because it is close by, and there is a ton of grass for me to sniff. Since here are kids playing, I have to stay on leash. I don't mind. Sometimes I might find some food they dropped on the ground! There is a pretty view of the Boston skyline that my grandpaw loves, but I am too busy sniffing to care. Mom likes the slides because they are fun, but I am definitely not going down them while on her lap. I sometimes wish there was a little bit more shade, but it is a great place to go because there is something for everyone! read more

Robbins Farm park is directly across from Brackett School in Arlington Heights, near the water tower. It has something to offer everyone. 1. a large playground with two structures: one for toddlers, one for older kids, several sets of swings, a play house, a tire swing, and two long and fast slides. 2. a soccer field and baseball diamond for organized sports (must be reserved) or for informal play when those aren't taking place. 3. a basketball court (not a great one; just a blacktop w/ basket 4. a dog park (some off-leash hours, though not while kids are walking to/from school) 5. an incredible view of Boston by day or night 6. two hills perfect for sledding. the upper hill is more modest; the lower hill is quite dangerous, actually, but there are bales of hay at the bottom. Worth a drive if you don't live in the area, and a daily visit if you do. read more

With an amazing view of Boston in the background, Robbins Farm (aka Skyline) offers a sweet playground, a huge slide, a baseball diamond, picnic areas, plenty of benches, and quite a bit of shade. Lots of parking available up and down Eastern Ave, and about once a month (at least during summer) there are films, plays, or ball games shown. Very cool. read more

This park have an amazing view of down Town Boston. Great place for kids to play my kids love it here! The slide in new and the coolest one around. Its a great place to walk about and enjoy fresh air. Park is always clean of trash. This park host a lot a events in the summer time and neighbor hood event year round. read more

What a great park for kids! My girls had a blast at this park from the tire swing to the play structures and unique wide open grass space this playground is by far one of (if not the not the best in the area). We would go back in a heartbeat. This is the perfect place to fly a kite, sled in the winter and just hang out in the grass in the warm summer sun with awesome views of Boston! When we went the giant slides were not there. I'm watching to see when they will be rebuilt. read more

This is a great park for kids of many ages. It has 2 extremely tall slides and great swings, climbing structures, room to run, etc.

Great family park in Arlington. Plenty of street parking or park at the school across the street during non-school hours. There's a nice playground or go to the top of the hill and enjoy the Boston city and skyscraper views. There's not many views like this this far outside the city. read more
